I'm diving into the plastic tub of tapes that's been collecting dust in the storage. I'll try to upload something once a week. Please comment and enjoy!

WWF 1986 - highlights of Joshi wrestlers at MSG
While we're waiting for the Dump Matsumoto series to debut on Netflix, here is highlights of a match from MSG shown on Prime Time Wrestling in 1986: Dump Matsumoto and WWE Hall of Famer Bull Nakano vs. Linda Gonzalez (any idea what happened to her) and Velvet McIntyre. According to what I've seen, this was Dump Matsumoto's only appearance in the WWF.
Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura are on the call here. Gorilla refers to Matsumoto as "The Dump" a few times, and there are a few comments that border on insensitive, but that was 80s wrestling for you.
Probably weird/different to watch then, a bit of a mind trip to watch now.

More WWF Bob Backlund in the nascent Hulk Hogan era. And he still does his exercises post-match, this time with kids (who were watching on the whole time). Like they're pushing him as the friendly gym teacher or something.
Lawler/Idol vs. Bruise Brothers from a Mid-South card on Memphis Wrestling - 1982
มุมมอง 2579 หลายเดือนก่อน
From an episode of Memphis Wrestling. First is a match, Jerry Lawler and Austin Idol taking on the Bruise Brothers (Troy "Dream Machine" Graham and Porkchop Cash) managed by Jimmy Hart. Following that Bobby Eaton cuts a promo (?!?) hyping up a match in Tupelo, MS. Dirty Dutch Mantell joins in and cuts a friendly, helpful babyface promo offering assistance to Bobby Eaton against the Moondogs. On...

That M.O.M. rap was pretty good hype 😂
Loved watching these on tv in junior high and high school
Bill Mulkey A jobber legend. 😂😂😂
That was the best finish they both could agree on
Three things that people forget were so damn bad-ass in the 70's...Harley Race, Jerry Lawler, and the band Chicago. Those horns get me every damn time.
60 minutes of this would've been insane to see live...also here because of Jim Cornette
Who was that Max wrestler teaming up with Ricky Martin
I remember this episode - do you have the entire show?
This is actually her second appearance. Her "debut" was a week earlier in Boston. th-cam.com/video/V6Dio6wlxe8/w-d-xo.html
No comments in 2 years ?
Wrestling Gold.
Jimmy got a good old fashioned belt lashing ouch 😂by Lawler
I don't think I ever seen the macho man vs warrior title vs title
I miss yall von erics
Andre almost body slam studd and blassie both together that's over 600 pounds
Bob was one of the best technical workers in the business. Wish they'd brought in a classics division for wrestler's who really knew how to shoot & stretch people. Cross promote with Japan & MMA.
Who are the two men with Lawler?
Orient Express reunited in wcw
Wcw awesome great good going
Markoff worked best as Volkoff’s stooge
Here from Wrestle Me podcast

The mom was right
How often did you see Bundy in street clothes? Then you had Mean Gene talking to the phoney doctor. The wrestling of the 80s was the best. Piper was a heel but he got the biggest pop on the show. Fans loved him. Jesse Ventura's "Roots 2" comment would have made people today lose their minds.
I remember watching this show during my elementary and middle school years
Sharpe was winning g his matches in 1983. He even wrestled Bob Backlund and did well despite losing Later on of course he became more of a comical jobber Loso g to almost everyone
One of the first things o ever recorded on VHS
frankie williams no runna from nobody. he may be a lousy wrestler, but he's always inna that ring!
16:52 infamous words of kevin von Erich
This is unusual but awesome to see Flair so serious outside his Japanese NWA World Title defenses. No Woo’s. No screaming. No bragging about Space Mountain, Ladies, Lear Jets, Rolexes or The Horsemen. Just a serious sports based promo.
Gorilla Monsoon and whom else is next to him doing commentary
10:37 Oh Wow that Skittles commercial really brought back great memories!
Kerry looked like Doris.
Putski having himself a really good time there…
Old Southern belt shined up nice🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
17:50 I don't know how Kevin has stayed so strong over the years (But he probably got through it because of his wife and kids ( God must have watched over him (To me it would be strange to not be able to talk to any of my siblings (Because they were gone (He couldn't ask any questions are just hang out with any of his brothers (So Sad ,but he hasn't let the tragedy take over his life ...He remains a strong man for his family and himself ...
wasn't there post match altercation that was really bloody? or was that another time? I first got back into wrestling when I was stationed at Ft.Hood. it came on Sat morning we'd get up and start Drinking and watch it lol by noon someone was getting a pile driver lol
That was a Tully/Sweeten match.
@ 3:52 there's absolutley no reason for The Genius to be hurt
It was surreal to see Mean Gene, who had interviewed Elizabeth dozens of times doing a report on her death. I also love how Vince takes shots at Macho Man and WCW. I can honestly see him saying something like "Elizabeth would still be alive if it hadn't been for Eric Bischoff and WCW quite frankly"
Joe Scarpa was the worst.
Verne gagne son Ric Flair vs his replacement Nick
This was so big to have on TV back then…was just squash matches ..
Yep, it sure was cool to see.
🥈
Shane Douglas was the only MLW World Heavyweight Champion (original version) not the second version of the MLW World Heavyweight Championship from 2002-current.
Play the villain music when WCW comes on, eh?
Great stuff!
Match was in January 1986. The last regular AWA card in Winnipeg before the WWF arrived.
