The waterpark first opened in 1989 as Aqualandia and immediately became one of Jesolo's main tourist attractions. A visionary plan was developed in the 2000s: to make Aqualandia a Caribbean oasis, creating the first and only fully themed waterpark in Italy.
That dream came true in 2019, with more than 2,000 palm trees and 50,000 sq.m of coral pink sandy beaches, and the park changed its name to Caribe Bay. Thanks to attractions like Roatan, an adventure ride set in the middle of the jungle, and Shark Bay, the only wave pool in the world with sand both in and out of the water, Caribe Bay became famous outside of Italy. Today it is Italy's no.1 award-winning park and one of the top 7 waterparks in the world (EMEA area: Europe, Middle East and Africa).
In 2021 Caribe Bay inaugurated Pirates' Bay, the new themed family area, and in 2022 Playa Paraiso, the exclusive VIP area. Caribe Bay is constantly developing new ideas to guarantee that we're always offering thrilling new attractions.
