@@Renault5Campus Well, mine had speakers already fitted to the plastic shelves on either side of the rear parcel shelf, but the cones were destroyed. I just removed them & put some new speakers of the same size & screwed them in. I just used the existing wiring to connect them. I'm really jealous of your R5, I wish I still had mine!! 😥

@@vasilis8208 mine also and are in very good condition, 2 way speakers but not sure how they sound. They are now on the car but did not tried them yet.

Usually the problem with those come from the hose in which the metal part slides. If that is the case I suggest than you insert it as it is(broken) in a new hose and you stick them together. I have one mechanism broken and I will do a video of the repair but this will take a while, maybe 1 month or so from now.

@@brankobajagic Thank you. Although I did not tried yet for windows mechanism keep in mind that plenty of parts from Renault Twingo first generation will fit. C3G engine of twingo is more or less the same as the C3J you probably have. gear box, steering rack and many others will fit woth no adaptation. Also Clio gen 1 and gen 2 ae a great fit.

@@Renault5Campus Oh yeah, using the Clio or Twingo parts would be verry convenient especially since the R5 ones are becoming verry rare or verry expensive to find. Ill try an combine all I can since I really like my little Renault.

That is roof sealing tape, contains a high adhesive rubber. The aluminum on top is a very thin layer to protect against UV. The utility in the car is to reduce vibration and noise.

@@Renault5Campus When I painted mine, first time round I used a pump-action spray gun & it looked terrible. But with an air-operated gun, it was much beter!

I am using a 2K paint, now sure if cellulose based. Super resistant in fact, I choose it cause does mot require varnish

@@Renault5Campus When I had mine, I bought a can of the original paint from Renault. It was very shiny finish!

Thx for the tip, I cannot set the pressure on the compressor nor gun therefore I used 6 bars, this is the reason for the high speed of my hand.

Yeah man...one valve was tucked in the valve giude and then the pusher got bender when trying to move the valve...it was a complete mess.
