I love them and miss them together so much. I was around 7 or 8 when I heard Anthem For The Year 2000 for the first time and I remember falling in love with them instantly. I rediscovered them a few months ago when I needed it the most and let me tell you that Neon Ballroom literally saved me. Indeed, most of the songs on this record are pretty depressing but somehow listening to them didn’t make me more depressed, they actually helped me get better because I realized I wasn’t the only one who could have shit going on. Thank you so much Silverchair, you will always be my favourite band 💜

This made me cry. It made me cry because of the beautiful tune. But also the video. Just normal Australians going about their lives. I grew up in Melbourne but left Australia for Europe in 1997 because my parents decided to move. It has been 24 years and my heart cries everyday to move back home. To hear the birds in the morning. Feel the sunshine. Swim in the warm ocean. I now have a husband and kids myself and it would cost an absolute fortune to move from here in England to Australia. I don’t know what to do 😭😭🙏🏻
