Are you aware? that when ever you pause? you raise the inflection upward? as if you're asking a question? this is sometimes called? uptalking
You didn't give the full instructions on how to light the propane, for instance turning the propane on and what knobs should the numbers be on. Once lite how do you adjust knob numbers to make fridge colder
Hi Nancy, those are good comments. Because there fridges are original to the year of the Boler, we explain to not adjust any of the dials. They are set to the coolest temperature 🌡 We are not sure how much longer these fridges will last! We hope you are having a great summer and thank you for commenting 😊
How long does it take to cool the fridge with the propane?. Is there a way we can make the fridge work with electricity?
It takes around 4-6 hours for the fridge to settle and start cooling once started after arriving at the destination. These fridges are original and are from 1976 and only work off of propane. They are very small and on hot days, they cannot keep up. Some people will pack the fridge with frozen food and frozen water to cool it off at the start of their trip. We use a cooler in the back of our vehicle to be safe from wildlife and not have any food in the Boler. We freeze water bottles and drink the water when it melts, but other than that, we use this small space for mostly storage during our trips.
