I loved visiting the UK! From the food, people, and views it was truly a memorable experience. One thing I will say as an American who visited the UK is it was cool to be the one with the accent :) Thanks for your patience as I edit these videos. I like to put my creativity and personality into each video! I genuinely appreciate everyone who interacts with my videos and leaves comments, it is t...

I love UK all hail the King (rip Queen Elizabeth)
indonesia cinta❤
You're fine, we mostly just call it Big Ben as well, even though we should know better. it's all good. :D
You have never seen big ben you silly mare
Must be the gun culture that prevents Americans from using a knife while eating 🙄
Soo glad you had fun in London, it's my absolute favourite city ❤
Great videos, and thanks for loving my country ...not seen or don't know if you visited Borough Market ? Or tried one mash and liquor? BTW your mums a hottie 👍🏼
🏴
Brooke this was amazing editing and vid
Please stop with the terrible British accents
Cool video. Thank you for appreciating the architecture of our city.
Fun video
When you did the respect thing, you were actually telling the viewers here in the UK to f*** off, putting two fingers up with palm inwards is like giving the middle finger to a yank ✌️
Have to say that your video editing is really fun and interesting! Glad you love the UK. People like you will always be welcome here. I lived and worked in Dallas, TX for about 15 years and have to say that ALL the American people I met were always very friendly. I loved the USA but the country was just too big for me - you either have to drive many hours or fly somewhere to see something different. Best wishes.
Your parents did a good job.
You cannot beat a Toby carvery !!
@@AlanJones-kc4us true! It was delicious!
It will always be known as Big Ben. People will know what you mean
Enjoyed your vlogs. If you come back to the UK check out some other areas of the UK. I went to University in London and there are so many places more amazing than London.
Born and live in London and we all call it Big Ben. Would sound daft referring to it as The Elizabeth Tower.
You keep calling it Big Ben, That's OK with us, i was born just a short walk from Big Ben, many years ago, Londoners have always called it Big Ben, From grandparents, parents, other family members, and friends, it has only ever been referred to as Big Ben, so you were right it is Big Ben. The Towers you could see in the distance are Television Transmitter Stations in a part of London called Crystal Palace. Great video, i hope you had a wonderful time here.
I’m a Londoner and 99% us call it Big Ben which is the nickname for the bell and not the tower so you’re cool. Hope you enjoyed your time visiting
It’s Big Ben hun, no one would call it Elizabeth Tower or Clock Tower it’s known and is called Big Ben by All Brits
Very interesting and fresh prospective from two young ladies of my Home City. Your Travel Vlog style is pretty cool too. A good watch. Hope you enjoy/enjoyed your trip (sorry about the rain btw). Best wishes from fellow Travel Vlogger of Senior Years ☺️)
Great content Brooke
Great comment Ellie 😉
More videoas plss
''Britain has immense history'' much of that Museum is full of looted stuff not from Britain lol ex colonial countries want their treasures and artefacts back
True 🫡
Yes they should be returned to native land and people
🥱
Looted ? You can research our history if you like...
Although it's officially the bell itself that is called Big Ben, everyone here in London calls the clock tower Big Ben too. A lot of people wouldn't even know what you were talking about if you said The Elizabeth Tower.
The pizza may have been authentic italian and they are completely different to the US or UK generally.
The original London bridge is in the US, whoever bought it, thought Tower bridge was London bridge lol.
That's a myth.
@@timholder6825 London bridge is here, it's situated on lake Havasu in western Arizona and they renamed the road London bridge road. www.golakehavasu.com/media/uploads/images/Attractions/London%20Bridge/2019%20london%20bridge%20aerial1.jpg
Don’t fret about Big Ben …. Getting it ‘wrong’ has never been a thing
While its generally referred to as Big Ben, the tower itself has never been called that. Before it was the Elizabeth tower it was originally known simply as The Clock Tower, and then St Stephen's Tower. Big Ben is really a nickname for the bell. Its full title is The Great Bell of the Clock of Westminster.
We all call it Big Ben in the UK, even though we know its called Elisabeth Tower, I've never heard anyone say "can you show me the way to Elisabeth Tower" ...you'd probably get half the people you ask say "where" 😂
Keep calling it Big Ben , I'm British and we all do too . We know it's the bell really . The liberty bell was made in the same place as Big Ben , yes the liberty bell is British too !
Big Ben is the large bell in the tower that strikes the hour chimes.
I call it Big Bong
Lol - We have buildings here in England practically as old as England. Most are not fairing well but it would be difficult to travel in any given direction here for more than ten miles without coming across a church / monastery / farmstead / parish or hamlet that`s less than 5 - 8 hundred years old. It`s awful !
If you ask the way to it People will know where you mean. Don't worry
Most Brits will know it’s called Elizabeth Tower, but i’m pretty sure most of us, when talking about it, call it Big Ben too.
I realize you're thrilled to be in the UK and you're just children, but please refrain from behaving like 7-year-olds; it reflects poorly on your country and your parents.
Wow - how do you work that out. Sorry but all they are are 2 l presume teenage in years sisters with outgoing personalities enjoying their time in another country which clearly is showing in these. What is wrong with that - they are doing nothing reflecting poorly on their parents whatsoever!
I'm British we all call it Big Ben .take no notice.
Great video! I'm a proud Londoner and we always call the Elizabeth tower Big Ben. Everyone does so no need to correct yourself. You love Big Ben and that makes you great! Come back and see us soon 😁
happy 😀
Well done with the money 😉🙂. Earning and saving your own money to spend 👏 👍
dont worry about what you spent girls on your stuff, you got them in London, greatest city in the world, when you get back home and wear them, your memories will come back, thats what life is about, make the memories, take it all in at your ages, i promise, your experience will help you for life
Thank you, it means a lot to hear this 🙏🏼
great videos, great editing also, maybe another career an traveller, come back to the UK, and scoot around the rest of it and vlog
The only people who ever go into those phone boxes are tourists and the chronically incontinent. 🫢
What can I say, I’m a tourist 🤷🏼♀️
@@brookeskalka It could be worse. 😉
The thing with hotels is you get what you pay for & London is Way overpriced.
Great video. Good British accent
Life learning lessons where to go?
Great work. You’re very charming.
what do you think about our bacon, our bacon is taken from along the back of the pig which gives us a long rasher where as the american bacon is cut across the back giving a shorter rasher, our sausages are even better
Welcome to the real world outside the USA hope you enjoyed.
Ironically, most Brits will say London isn't the real England / UK and advise visiting the provinces, or any of the other capital cities (Cardiff, Belfast, Edinburgh).
Most of the books you have read ie love story's , films , adventures etc are outside of London and you can visit them because the locations are real
