From Polokwane in Limpopo. Never ran a Comrades but always following the race

Very useful information. However, my confidence level definitely went down. I’m aiming for a RM, so my longest run should be about 50km? On the “big” weeks where would I find the other 65km to get to 115?

I really enjoyed that video, the quality and content are of an enormously high standard. I also learned something that quite literally stunned me. Isavel Roche-Kelly is buried just 21km from my home, a mere half marathon distance away. I will run that route in 2021, just to honour her memory.

Yes, we want a shorter race with real spectators, real water tables and real times. Give us a half Comrades 45km event. 90km is just too long for most youngsters. Also team up with Parkrun for worldwide 10k races on race day.
