      It's called the wagtail high flyer. It's good. But only for commercial cleaning. Residential I'd stick to regular equipment. Does a better job. Thus is purely for speed without focusing on detailing.

    That’s some dodge rope access. No cows tail or lanyard on the jumar (falling object). You were only on one point at one stage when you disconnected your backup. Well done on doing the rope to rope but better rope management, lanyards and always being connected to two points should be looked at.

    I simply can't believe the bloody mess that is pulled off the glass and allowed drop onto the sill and splash elsewhere. Another fluffy should be used, held horizontally under, and following the squeegee, to catch the soap as it comes off. I still can't believe in 2022 people are doing this. You wouldn't get a job on my crew making a mess like that. Plus, an 18" blade ought to be used. Even longer, for windows that size. One guy soaps up, another pulls it off. Windows that size would be done in less than 40 seconds. You blokes need to look at how the Pommies do their windows. They make you look like you look like you're using a Zimmer frame.

  • @alexisjones9267
    @alexisjones9267 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is so sketchy. I do the same job and seeing what you're doing freaks me out. Why not test your ASAP before relying on it solely to save your life? Takes two seconds. And you purposely push it down to your waist, increasing the fall factor. And you leave your bucket on an edge not attached to anything, which is once again not a very difficult thing to do, I use my cowtail attached to me when bringing it over a balcony. It can literally kill a person from that height, and if you do it enough times is bound to happen. Terrifying. And then no edge pro either.

    • @rooftopjobs7341
      @rooftopjobs7341 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ive used both and i can say the pivot on the wagtail is a lot easier to control... the moerman handle i use with brass but i only use the pivot on pole... all in all the wagtail is a better overall tool especially for piece work windows that are regularly cleaned, you will fly through drops with this.

    • @rooftopjobs7341
      @rooftopjobs7341 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      But if u were wanting to decide between the moerman version of this id go with the wagtail, a lot more simple design, easier to control, the only thing thats better about the moerman is that the muff part hold more water... but if u wsnted to somehow put another pad on the wagtail u can do that ive seen it done

    Hey thanks for the info! On highrise commercial i tend to use 22-26 inch ninjas. You find its still worth it with the smaller channel size?

    • @rooftopjobs7341
      @rooftopjobs7341 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ill be honest ive went back to using my regular muff with a moerman handle and brass channel. After using this tool overtime i started to come down from my infactuation with it and started to realize it really just doesnt hold up, the pad doesnt hold ennough water to effectively wet 2 good sized windows, by tje time a regular muff would be done it pribably is about the same time or even slower, it has its perks on being easier to use yes but, the quality isnt there either, the velcroe on the ends is coming off for me and it splashes around.... maybe if i were u id stick with the ninja... i have one and its stupid easy to use so

      Also ive read the regulations for Ontario Canada for Rope Access window cleaning and it does not state anywhere that it is a requirement to tether tools, its is reccommended yes but not mandatory. Every other window cleaner i have encountered literally has never tethered their tools and the company i work for is one of the biggest in canada. And sorry proper stuff to work with?? Last time i checked i had a main line, safety line, safety device such as a rope grab, tied off to two seperate anchors, at this point its just your opinion but again thanks for watching :)
