Road trips, rallying and more!
The brilliant LV-421 BV-4241 to Berga
A drive on one of my favourite roads in Spain, the LV-421 BV-4241 to Berga. It's very twisty and you rarely see another car!
Big thanks to the Skoda driver for waving me past, something that rarely happens in the uk! It was hard to pass them though, as my hire car had so little power!
I'd definitely recommend Berga as somewhere to stay over. The old streets are beautiful, and there's loads of places to stay and eat.

The flowing C-1412b to Tremp
มุมมอง 70ปีที่แล้ว
A drive on the flowing C-1412b towards Tremp. Such a shame that crappy SUV ruined the 2nd half of the drive, I hate the things!!! No matter how slow I drove I kept on catching it up, and I didn't have the power to pass safely.

C-462 The Best Driving Road in Spain
มุมมอง 92ปีที่แล้ว
Even in a Fiat 500xl, the C-462 might just be one of the best roads in Spain! Flowing curves, a dam, and tunnels make it an amazing place to drive!
Fighter Jets Over Nant Y Moch
มุมมอง 117ปีที่แล้ว
An epic drive around the stunning Nant-y-Moch reservoir, plesantly interupted by 2 fighter jets! I really thought something had gone wrong with my 208 GTI, when I first heard the loud noise!
West on the A4212 to Trawsfynydd

Cruising along the A4212 towards Trawsfynydd. I love driving in mid to north Wales, the roads are so quiet compared to Devon!!
Woodbury Common MTB - Mini Afan Trails
มุมมอง 1272 ปีที่แล้ว
2 fun trails in the Mini Afan area of Woodbury Common. Had a bit of a wobble on the first one, where I caught my leg on my seat, which I hadn't lowered enough!
Woodbury Common MTB - Privates in the Trees

One of the first trails I ride on Woodbury Common is the Privates in the Trees segment, which is near the model airplane car park.
Tiverton to Bish Mill
มุมมอง 273 ปีที่แล้ว
A drive on the quiet road between Tiverton and Bish Mill. My usual route when heading to Exmoor!
Passing VXR8's on the A39!

Leaving a VXR8 behind in my 208 GTI, on the A39 over Exmoor.
Elan Valley - Red Mtb Flow Trail
มุมมอง 743 ปีที่แล้ว
The Red trail at Elan Valley is a good step up from the Blue, and everything is rollable, for those who don't do big jumps, like me!!
Elan Valley - Blue Mtb Flow Trail

My first run down the blue flow trail in Elan Valley. Soo much fun!
Elan Valley MTB - Descent to the Church

Beautiful!
👌
A breakdown in that tunnel would cost some serious damage to the bank account
Ridden this road many times on my bike holidays in my 30s and 40s absolutely amazing, breathtaking scenery and some of the best twistees i have ever seen
I cycled this a few weeks ago - I must say - I preferred not being in a car on the way down, but would have loved a lift back up! 😄
Fantastic video and one of if not the best driving route in Wales. What car were you driving?
2:43 bastard of a corner binned it there
*Promo sm* 🙂
Great Road, drove it today, (by accident to avoid the slow traffic on the main route) it is super smooth and has great sight lines. Keep a look out for the sheep as they seem happy to sit on the edge of the road. Recommended 👌🏼
Absolut beautiful and I love your filming. Thank you so much
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Is this in Abergavenny?
No, it's near Haye-on-Wye
Suprised you got enough power to get over there in mk5 gti
The car was such an unreliable piece of crap, I was surprised I even got there 😅
I would never drive down at that speed , it's asking for trouble . More than one car has down over the side and sheep have no road sense either . And there are much steeper roads then that in Wales too !
Come to Vercors, I live just next to it.
Excellent video. Are you driving a bike or a car ?
Thanks! I was in a hire car!
@@allyc85 the acceleration to over pass 3 cars in a row was impressive .. wow :)))
Thinking of doing this next June. Is it one way? I noted no other cars in this video.
Hi, no it's two way, I was just lucky on this drive. Hope you enjoy it, it's an amazing road!
To be honest, I rode it in June on the motorbike and it was a little under whelming, and the road the other side is in a very poor state and quite dangerous in places. The view was nice and it was a lovely sunny day so not all bad :)
It was a road to tick off the list, but I wouldn't rush back, unless I was in the area.
Came across this road in the very late sixties, you're correct it is brilliant
Nice landscape, I like remote moorland, but disappointed by the lack of Heather, which the moorlands of Scotland and to a lesser degree Northern England have in abundance. Overgrazing by sheep perhaps?
I love this road. I take my time over it and enjoy the view.
I became friends after watching your whole video. I hope you will make me a friend
we are riding up there tomorrow 🤟
Enjoy! Conditions are pretty good right now!
Know a39 id be shocked if you'd stay near me on that tarmac rd ..lowered then ?nice man fab control...
Wtf do tbe put lines though letters NOWT else to DO huh???

Doesn't look like that anymore, forestry have been thinning out up there

Nice video 👍🔥 see you soon:)
Mae Cymru'n brydferth, nid cymaint y tywydd serch 😂
Hi there. I used to live in Dulverton - now an expat in eastern Europe. I drove many a happy (illegally fast!) time on the road you filmed. Brought back many happy memories. Many thanks!
Hi John, glad the video bought back happy memories, it is a great road for a responsible blast!!
@@allyc85 Cheers!❤️
Yes Mtb isn’t dead! You are good and nice video! I subscribed to you. I do ride as well 😃

Must say the Mk5 GTI must be one of the most perfect cars for this road, me and my father have just come back from Tiverton and this road was one of our favourites in the area, especially the bend at 2.22
It's a great road. That chicane as I call it is one of my favourite sections of road anywhere!
Are there many hills on this route?
This is only one part of the road though, you need to do the B4391 Bala to Llangynog too!
That can be found here 🙂 th-cam.com/video/wwR0-gPHLEY/w-d-xo.html
Fruitloop
Must have been hot summer, the grass looks parched
The ground is rarely parched in wet Wales but for the most part changes from green to brown during winter.
That's cool man.
anyone else get "just cause 3" vibes at the beginning half
I love the subtle shades of colour but still it is bleak and barren.
No hairy hands...just woolly sheep!.
Watch out for the hairy hands !
A true road for a master of the motor bike.
It's a cracking stretch of road - well done for keeping it pure and without music. Join me for a drive here: th-cam.com/channels/LyMVPqGXnNasgXYVeZYhkQ.html
i can’t wait to go there next year
Me too!!
Did it May 1988 on my bicycle didn't see anyone for 22 miles - awesome.
Thank you for sharing your video, it is my birthday on the seventh of February and we usually go to Wales 🏴, further north though on the Llyn Peninsula. Since we are well and truly locked in it is good to watch videos like this, God bless.
Happy birthday Linda! Glad you enjoyed my video, hopefully it isn't too much longer until we can get back out exploring again for real! Take care :)
@@allyc85 thank you.
Tip: Change the speed to 2x and pretend you're a rally driver
You must be a bit more adventurous. Try the Tregaron to Abergwesyn mountain road, or the Cwmystwyth to Rhayader road passing the top end of the Elan Reservoir or my favourite, the mountain road from Staylittle to Machynlleth where the road falls away on both sides on little more than a single track road.
Been there done them, videos are on the channel. The Abergewsyn mountain road is fun, but too blind and narrow for full commitment.
Love those 3 rds
NO way, Wales Highest road could be in South Wales?, there are bigger mountains up North!, must be higher roads?, but no, YES he is correct, the Gospal Pass is Wales Highest road, ( I never knew that!) and I have never been on it, damn!
It is indeed surprising, but true!
