My harness cam from the finals day rehearsal run through. Sorry about the annoying squeaky carrier (G.O.R.M). I hope you enjoy seeing my final moments as a Bluecoat as much as I enjoyed them

Ive had my 99 cobra for 19 yrs. I have bbk long tubes and x pipe and I think my catback is mac 2.5” and it sounds so good but I’m impressed how good even the stock exhaust sounds in this video!
I always found the tone to be fine with the stock exhaust. It had the “fixed” exhaust, which basically sounded like Flowmasters. The problem I had was when I wanted to have fun on backroads between 50-70 mph. It was basically inaudible. The Borlas fixed that, and then some. Never going back 😎
never gets old.
It gets annoying seeing people calling these cars slow.. Sure they're slow compared to modern V8s but during 1999, this was one of the fastest cars on the road for the money.
Plus 320hp isnt what id call slow, can easily make 300whp and that’s not a slow car. Just not super fast.
@fatdan172501 people also only judge thongs off hp numbers and track times. They are very fun and quicker than people think because of the weight difference and a few of the right tweaks can make them significantly quicker and where they're older and more raw they feel quicker which makes them very fun. That's what it's all about is having fun.
Sounds perfect. Not stupid loud. nice tone.
I actually liked the before more 😅🤟🏿
To each their own. The before (stock mufflers) actually did sound good, I never disliked it. It just didn’t have enough presence, it was very quiet. It was almost inaudible above 60 mph
Love the license plate too!
Just picked-up an 01 Cobra and this exhaust! Thank you for the video!
Buying a 99 cobra myself beginning of December. 🤟🏿😎 Can't wait to join the cobra family
Did you get it?
Hope you got it if not life still has time for it!
@@raviolibandit8396i sure did get it 😁black on black hard top it'll be two years this December. Currently has 75k mile on it.
@@BlackBearSuperFan96you’re a beast man!
@@ScarletGutsthanks 😅
revisiting in 2021
It’s hard to tell over video, is the car noticeably louder in person? Thinking about purchasing for myself. Also very beautiful cobra👍🏼.
It is very noticeably louder, but the big difference is how deep and throaty it sounds. It gets progressively louder with load. The stock exhaust is almost inaudible at wide-open on the highway, while the Borlas REALLY make themselves heard
Also, it’s worth mentioning that I think it’s a better cruiser than the stock exhaust. 2500 RPM on the highway with the cruise control is a distant rumble, very very tolerable
Good to know, thanks for the input. I’m glad you’re enjoying it, stay safe brother👍🏼
@@quintman15my gt500 has them with arh long tubes and or hpipe talk about a beautiful symphony especially under throttle and load. It's insane. The mod motors sound ungodly. Borla ftw
I thinks it's cool how the qaud line is the same height so their drums are at the same height
So awesome that Scott Johnson did that!
I met Scott at the System Blue booth at WGI 2019. Seriously such a cool guy, I was a nervous freshman in high school and shook his hand. Should’ve asked for a picture with him lmao
Very Nice Cobra and like the upgraded exhaust sound. Just subbed. Please do the same. Thanks!
The way tenors should be played and sound! TENORS RULE😎😎😎
Scott Johnson is so cool! He was very nice to the kid who wanted to record, and the kid was respectful. Amazing drummer, and amazing person
So cute
I heard Tim Tintari talking
I Love this vídeo haha
Is each sizzle of the rolls in time to?? Feels like it.
Never not amazed
That split second of ungodly clean at @0:37 is the most beautiful thing I've ever heard
Side view is incredibly satisfying
These guys didnt wear there t shits. So unprofessional how can they show themself in video
I miss star of Indiana, that line in 93 was ridiculous, they got screwed out of the title and left dci for good
Those matching stuck heights 👌
Scojo the cameraman
check out this 10 year old playing this exercise th-cam.com/video/HSlW59UAhS8/w-d-xo.html
I was searching for some rudiments and found this....really cool
Why are they shirtless?
The tenor all the way on the right of the lines sweep zones made me hard
everytime I watch BD drumline I like how fierce the playing is, as well as the chops...But, I always feel like I'm listening to forceful down playing. I mean, it's great, but seems muscled. Probably the style they are going for, but I'm not sure i like how it sounds. (not talking about clarity and musicality, just the subtle downward playing style)
Wat kind of Malletz are they using
Lamont Johnson they're using Sean Vega ts8 System Blue tenor sticks
Does ANYONE have sheet music for the first part of the warmup??
***** Yeah I figured it out thanks
Woah, I had no idea this was you!
Hi keelan
we have 2 legends at our school, Dean is one of them.
What's the cadence you guys played at the beginning?
score?
can sell the score of this cadence ?
eight on a hand is my favorite song.
This has how do you French grip?
No
What are those things on the rooms of the snares at the beginning of the show
The rims? It's a ventilation system that gives them the option of opening and closing the vents in the drum for a drier or wetter sound in the drums. Really ingenious system.
+Will Cochran thanks so much I've always wondered what those were
that tenor line thoooo
Congrats on your RCC win at WGI. It was great seeing you guys in the lot, and during the performance. It's pretty cool seeing a guy from minnesota with all the california guys.
Was that the Super Mario world theme at 0:40?
yep
A little late to ask this, but how's life after Bluecoats?
Is this the same cadence they played in 2012?
I just made the tenorline at my highschool this year and in our opener for our 3rd movement which is Dies Irae it is a complete drumline feature for about 60 measure and it starts with the tenors opening with our own feature and the tempo is 176 bpm and I have sixteenth note paradiddlediddles with a flam on every first Right hand diddle so it's RL(flamR)RLL and so on and I've been practicing at lower tempos and it's not helping me I can't really get the flams nice at 176 do you have any tips? This is a huge feature for us and it's the most challenging music our drumline has had so far and the last thing I want is for them to rewrite the music.
what made you choose bluecoats over blue devils
um duh cause there definitely better like there's no question about it
TBNR branch they were this year, but that's just about the only time they were better in a cleanliness point of view. Bluecoats almost always has the better design in my opinion
what is: personal preference
Colin Armstrong You act like that's all that matters, man, at least Bluecoat's line has heart. Tbh, if I was offered a contract at BD or Bluecoats, I'd pick Bluecoats any day.
what the fuck does that even mean the bluecoat's line has heart lmao.
"No pressure Dean" haha Dean did amazing and so did the entire tenor line!
