Notice how the women are at home taking care of the house and kids and being judged or afraid of being judged on how the house, dishes look and how her coffee or food is?! And how she looks. And the men are waited on hand and foot? Women are worried about their looks while men are portrayed as stern with kids and headed out to work or doing lawn work or working on the car or fishing and kids out playing and being kids. Women portrayed as being a bit naive in some commercials. Men are big babies when sick and the wife is catering to him. Times have changed!

The creators for commercials back then were more imaginative and creative than today’s boring commercials. Free tv had nothing but medical law suit commercials and Medicare and medicine commercials. The commercials on tv apps are not very good either. I can’t even remember a jingle from any of today’s commercials but I can recall a lot of jingles from 70’s,80’s and 90’s.

Has anyone noticed in all of these commercials the lack of Overweight people? Being overweight myself, it seems our society has changed and not for the better. 😢

You know is funny to remember there was a time when you had to write to an address for information or to get something or order anything back in the seventies, remember a time where you couldn't even pause the television so if you need it the address or phone number you had to hurry up and get it or wait until you see it again because in the 70s and 80s most people cannot pause their television.

Ford LTD comparing themselves to Cadillac lol. My mother always had Caddies, they were always nicer then my friends families LTD's. I remember Lee jeans being the farmers/workers jean of choice, they were cheaper then Levis and tougher. I remember glass Pepsi bottles, all soda tastes better in glass, no chemicals leaking into it. Do people still use aspirin for anything other then heart attack prevention? Ring around the collar? Dude, wash your neck!

This was a time when commercials inspired people. These days, people just ignore commercials.
