Our new Royal Enfield rails (carriers, saddle-stays) compatible panniers
The panniers are way better than the OEM RE ones. Waterproof (in fact air tight, with an air valve for flights), on/off in 5 seconds, no hassle with screws etc. More solid than the famous BMW (Krauser) panniers. Same inside volume as the OEM RE panniers.

Spiti: Kaza to Rohtang, a 5:30h trip in 10 minutes.
มุมมอง 2973 หลายเดือนก่อน
I left out a lot of interesting stretches to get it down to 10 minutes but you may be able to get the idea - This trip was done in June 2024. There is an uncut version available as well, full 5.5h long.
Spiti: Kaza to Rohtang in 5:30h
มุมมอง 983 หลายเดือนก่อน
This was done in June and we rode heavily modified Himalayans with over 50% more torque than the stock version. Still a great achievement I think and a testament to the durability of our Big Bore sets for the Himalayan with LS 410 engine. We"ll do a short of a few minutes too but this clip shows the entire stretch for people who may want to know the challenges awaiting them before deciding if a...
Royal Enfield J-Engine Big Bore Meteor Hunter New Classic Bullet

This is not a complete or flawless instructional video - although you may get all the info you need from it if you have some experience with engine repair. It was done in a parking lot of our hotel because as long time friends of this channel may recall - Royal Enfield threatened my dealer with revoking his license if he allowed videos to be made in his workshop (actually they threatened him in...

Camshaft change on a Royal Enfield Himalayan
มุมมอง 9K2 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a brand new BS6/Euro 5 Himalayan. The cam is the HT-b which per dyno gives 5HP gain on a stock bike. I am going to check that out! The change only took 30 minutes including teabreak. I advise the use of a torque wrench (we did not use it bc the mechanic can work on this bike with eyes closed). Compression test with a 477cc carby model
มุมมอง 6912 ปีที่แล้ว
This bike has a 477cc cylinder, widened head with polished inlet, open exhaust and K&K air filter, and a HT-b performance cam. final compression 195psi. Very good and near the 200psi a brand new 411 has.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 477cc Compression Comparison
มุมมอง 1K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Does the 477cc need high Octane fuel - does she need better fuel than the run-of-the-mill 410cc - we answer this question in this video. While the 477 with a OEM foot gasket has exactly the same compression ratio as the OEM version it of course delivers way more torque and HP, about 30% more to be precise - and can use the same 91 RON fuel available for BS6 vehicles almost everywhere. However, ...
477cc Engine idle
มุมมอง 1.7K3 ปีที่แล้ว
The 477 engine idles at very low rpm once it reaches operation temperature. It runs a bit rougher and slightly noisier which is only perceivable if you know both engines, the 411 and 477. This is the carburetor type with an unaltered carb setting (125 main jet).

Royal Enfield Himalayan Gear Sensor Replacement
มุมมอง 4.3K3 ปีที่แล้ว
The gear sensor is one of the components more often defect than most parts of the REH. It is a cheap part and exchange can be done with very few tools in under one hour. The BS3 and BS4 types are different in that the BS4 has a few extra cables. We have tried to use a BS4 sensor on a BS3, it will fit but does not work. Except for the extra cables the procedure is the same so I guess this little...

Hi I just have a concern and I don't get any answer of this question anywhere..what is the bhp and torque figure after this and what is the mileage and most important how much is the increase in vibrations and are there any side effects of this on the engine
NMW racing is your manufacturing partner?
OMG all that dirt and grit
I like this camshaft but it's so noisy. The ticking valve noisy is driving me crazy
I do hope there was some oil on the wrist pin, cam and piston during the re-assembly?
No torque wrench in sight! I guess RE has liberal tolerance, just saying…..
Old School Baby !
He has a "" gooden tight" torque wrench.
Wow, this bike looks like it turned a lap around Arrakis equator
@Himalayan Tools can this be done on an UCE 350? How big in CC we can go on UCE 350cc without requiring to rebore the crankcase?
no. Buy a 500cc UCE and if you want upgrade to 535 with the conti cylinder. make sure you get a carby version - injection on UCE sucks.
@@gkossatzgmxde Thanks but since the person in the video has done it on a 350cc engine (even though J series) my question was can this kit be done on a 350 UCE as well?
@@gyanendrasingh4471 No
@@gkossatzgmxde what's coming in the way? Is it the crankcase bore?
I want this bracket for my Himalayan, how do i make it?
Loved the video. How did mechanic know if its on tdc after the head is on - that lock pin seems to only hold the cam gear. I really want a RE now!
Did you ride the bike through a brick saw factory first LOL 😅 And that bloody music Christ Man But an excellent video, I own a Royal Enfield Interceptor and Hunter 👍 Thanks for the video 👍 But it was a shame you never got to See it going ❓ From Yorkshire UK Cheers Paul.
There is a lot of dirt on Indian roads & these bikes are used for daily commute. So, there is nothing you can do about it. Most of the Indian bikers does not have the tools & skills or will to open the seats & clean them on regular intervals.
More grit and dirt in there now, than a quarry.
amigo se retirar a rabeta aí, embaixo do banco do garupa fica um buraco ou ainda fica algum fundo? obrigado
That is a solid, real-world mechanic. No messing about, just gets the job done. Sir, i salute you.
Amazing 👍

Who gives a crap about it?
Please let me know in the comments if anybody actually watches the entire thing. It is basically meant to scroll thru and find out about the overall challenge of such a trip. Do not forget that it is also at over 4000m altitude with way less oxygen than we lowlanders would normally appreciate.
Interesting video.. Well done!!
And where did you find such a good mechanic with such a clean workshop!? Talk about good karma!
Is that the kent cam from Hitchcock motorcycles? How did you like it?
I checked out your website I can't get the product delivered to India why is it so?
HT is an export company, they can not sell stuff inside india.
@@gkossatzgmxde How can i get my hands on it then?
@@vaibhavverma2960 Hi Vaibhav, our shop can not process Rupees and can not add GST, sorry. If you have a "sudo" address anywhere outside India and can use Paypal we can help. use the contact form please.
@@himalayantools6454Just tell us your address and do cash deal at lower price point in India for Indians without any taxes. Selling to Indians in India at lower price point will increase your revenue and bring down manufacturing costs.
What about bhp and torque with this bore
Torque is much enhanced, its a "race bike" now. Up to 80kmh that is. But that is all I need.
Jesus, i have to break apart half of my bike to stop it squeaking ...? I wish the RE has better production quality in the future
The problem is usually on the right bushing behind the rear brake pump assembly. A lack of grease is not the problem, but rather that the bolt assembly was over torqued during assembly and compressed the bushing so it is now no longer floating but rather the swing arm is rubbing directly against the frame. So you could disassemble the swing arm and install a thin washer and re-torque by hand to spec or you can just put a drop of heavy weight gear oil to the bushing area and that will last months of daily riding. The problem seems to be that they are using impact wrenches during assembly.
I guess you should also do the following changes along with it- 1. Change to a better clutch plate 2. Change the gear sprocket upgrade to a better one 3. Use an improved ecu 4. A Full system exhaust 5. Upgrade brakes 6. Use a better engine oil the one provided from company isn't very good 7. Stock spark plugs can be replaced with iridium spark plugs 8. An improved air filter I own a classic 350 j series bought in 2023 i also reside i India, i could be looking forward for this mods i might make a series for it as well or else i will shift to classic 650 in the upcoming years. Greetings i had be looking forward to this project it could be game changer for everyone. If possible bro make some videos doing some more additional performance mods.
1) not needed, stock clutch does a great job 2) there is no "better" I want low rev torque, not high end speed, so the stock sprocket stays 3) of course I have the Powertronic and even the FuelxPro+ (which is nice but not needed) 4) I am looking to replace the cat with an open pipe 5) not needed, these brakes are very good - much better than e.g. Himalayan 6) we ALWAYS use full synth only 7) tried it but no difference to stock 8) Not needed, but some changes to the air flow help by cutting the knee 9) You need to also adjust the head volume (its easily done with a dremel) to avoid knocking with bad fuel This bike is super fast now and if it where any faster I would say not for beginners. a 650 just adds weight, costs and complications.
@@gkossatzgmxde Greetings could you please show some pictures for your motorcycle and what you have the done, sounds great as you have already implied it and i haven't also how much did the big bore kit costed you. Would you be using an after market exhaust as well
@@gkossatzgmxdeCan u please update some picture and ur view on how its running now.
Very nice! But it is actually Jispa to Leh. Then again, the Manali Jispa stretch really is not very challenging to say the least.

So can the Hunter 350 be bored upto 500cc??did you use the S&S kit or is it diffrent one can you provide the info where you got it from. Also how is the reliability and power figures?.Great vid

un grand merci de Madagascar pour ce tuto car je dois démonter complètement le moteur pour un bris de vilebrequin et cela va beaucoup m'aider . Thank you very much my indian friend
Where was this made? Location please
Did he adjust clearance without a feeler gauge? People think experience makes up for it, but that is pure bs.
Yeh that's how they do it in India; just by finger tip feel! Even in the official royal Enfield service centre they do it like that I watched with my own eyes!
Thank you for the video. As other have called out. This is a wet clutch. The plates needs to be submerged/soaked in oil for several minutes before installing them. Not doing so would cause unnecessary initial wear during start up and first use. Outside of that, great video.
That's Lore hahaha
Nice
Chai !
I do like the straight cut primary gear's. The bike seems to be a quality machine. I don't think I would have replaced the all metal clutch plates, a bit of 600 wet n dry would have done the job.
Send your number sir
Thankyou my friend for the great travel trip👍✌️
