Competitive reseller accounts falsely reporting your items as inauthentic. Depop use ai and incompetent staff to check whether something is real or fake then the ownership is on you to prove they are real. My account literally was incorrectly suspended because of mass reporting of accounts to try to take out the competition

Friend been advising against Depop and not had issues with Vinted. He lost a lot of money sending items to a Depop buyer who said they never received the items despite my friend paying for a recorded delivery with a signature required (and one being received). Depop, despite proof from delivery company of receipt, let the buyer keep them and took the payment from my friend. It’s put me off Depop but not sure now which to use!

Make sure that you transfer your money in each transaction. Vinted is not transferring money for many Vinted Members and they block accounts while they owe money. If want to use them transfer you money immediately. I’m in a battle at the moment to try to get my 1200 euros and someone else I know is blocked out their account with over 2000 euros on it. Be Warned.

Postage company just messaged saying my parcel from Vinted has been damaged beyond repair. I took a chance with the item, figuring that it was too good to be true. The price was really low considering it was a great looking used xbox one. I have no confidence that Vinted will resolve this, after seeing their refund policy and customer service. The system seems that it favours sellers on Vinted more than buyers, even with the 'Buy now buyers protection policy' they have currently. Ebay is a way better platform. Buyers do your research. Lesson learned for me. Look at buyers profiles, if they have good ratings and a seller history, it should be ok.

Please someone answer quick, I bought a PS5 from vinted and had a whole convo with the guy he even showed proof of purchase and stuff. Now it seems that he has been blocked from vinted. So I thought yeah I can forget my package. But now suddenly he still was able to ship the item even if he was blocked?? Do y'all think he tries to scam me?? Any advice/things I should do?

Idk if it’s true, but I heard that if the buyer has complaints on vinted they can keep the item and get there money back. That’s why I’m always scared selling on vinted. But idk if it’s true

I don’t recommend it as a buyer. They make you pay a “Buyer Protection Fee” that is non existent. All of their replies are automatic - no customer care. Please be aware.

I also has a scammer today on vinted try to say I sent her an empty package. It was a Pandora bracelet for 40 pounds & they retail for 80. Waiting to hear from vinted. I hope from her account name, her broken English and the fact she looks like a typical scammer from the way she perceives herself… that vinted can see she’s a liar. Also tip for you ! Record yourself packaging the item and sending the item as that will help you if a buyer ever tries to do you dirty

Vinted stole £45 from me sold an item 22 days ago Payment was on hold that was fine buyer received and released payment 15 days ago Vinted apparently send payment to my bank account it didn't show up show contact then again last Monday 7 days ago they said raised issue with payment provider contacted then again 7 days later for then to say they have sent it and there is nothing thev can do send me some random bit of paper of proof without my account number or sort code on it and and even the amount payout not showing like that's proof WOW DO NOT USE VINTED

Hey, you have 60 sales on your depop with a lot of it pretty poor stock that will just sit. I’d get some more experience with it before making videos like these. I’d recommend watching someone like rhinds finds on TH-cam for some inspiration 😀
