Thank you for video! Question,…if you change the smart module and your key fobs aren’t recognized anymore does that mean I need to get the key fobs reprogrammed? I don’t know ish about this so please forgive me if the question is dumb.

My module has a 4 pin connector and the remote start has a 6 pin black. Is it required to use the 4 pin to 6 pin there is only one red port.

Well……that video was useless

When I push start button beeps back all 4 leds on the remote light up.

So if you need to replace the remote, how do you program the new one for the starter that's already installed?

This needs to be updated for cars with push start.

Does runtime extend actually work? The manual says to press the function button then the key button. It flashes as if it registered the command but it doesn't extend the runtime. (I have a TR2350AC)

The wife's 2009 kia Sortage has the Idatastart HC3 command start installed. I replaced the battery recently and need to reprogram it to start the vehicle. It is NOT in the manual on how to do it. What now ???????

So I have to do step 1 with the starter plugged to my computer. Then plug the starter brain into the car with the computer disconnected and then take it out of the car and plug it back to the computer again?
