I'm blind, usually if I'm looking at videos on here they are about baseball, weather, or other things that interest me. I will post on occasion but not regularly.
Audio Sports Recording, Houston Astros at St Louis Cardinals, September 19, 1999, bottom 7th to fin
This recording was made from northwest Austin. At that time, we did not have a very strong Astros affilliate in terms of the quality of the AM signal, the best for day time like this game was from KBBW 1010 AM in Waco. The game was a key game for what would turn out to be a dramatic 3-team race for two spots in 1999, the NL Central and the NL Wildcard berth between the Astros, Mets and Reds. Milo Hamilton and Alan Ashby are on the call.

This is a recording from Houston Astros radio via KTEM 1400 in Temple, TX and WTAW 1150 AM at that time in College Station. The recording was done from College Station on the campus of Texas A&M, though the audio quality of the further away Temple station I preferred as the bass was not as heavy. So you will hear the Temple feed with some lightning static in the background for the game portion,...
Audio sports Recording, April 30, 1997, nearly 70 Minutes of Various MLB Radio Broadcasts

Before the internet, baseball was enjoyed on TV or scanning the AM radio dial. On this nice Texas spring evening, Wednesday april 30 of 1997, what you are hearing is what I recorded off AM radio, nearly 70 minutes worth as I bounce around various games. To set the scene, I'm at my regular listening post during my days at Texas A&M. Our residence hall, Wells Hall was one of those modern modular ...

this audio recording is from my collection that I am remastering. This recording starts with a highlight recap of the 1996 Rangers season, followed by the first half of the game for the 1997 opener. It was recorded over then Rangers radio affilliate 1240 KTAM in Bryan and College Station, TX. Rangers HOF announcer Eric Nadel is joined by a familiar voice to Cowboys fans as Brrad Sham was his pa...

30 ballpark, 30 day tour compilation
มุมมอง 917 ปีที่แล้ว
A compilation of video shot from all 30 MLB ballparks during my 2012, 30 ballpark, 30 day tour.
Up here in the Chicago suburbs in the 1980’s I could pull in games from the Brewers, Cardinals, Reds, Braves, Pirates, Phillies. I wish I’d taped some of those distant games.
Love these memories
I'm honored to have been a part of this amazing trip. Seeing the pictures is bringing back memories of those games and of following your journey across the country.
Hey it's Hilary just wanted to let you know I've had to cancel my email and everything except this in memory channel. I'm trying to hide from some trouble makers. And I hope u r well.
It is VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE that most of these photos were taken by a blind man!!! He also created the slide show of his amazing "30 Ballparks in 30 Days" trip!! I think it is important to note that this man is my AMAZING HUSBAND!!!
This is excellent! It's my dream to do this someday. Thanks for posting!
It was a blast. There are some articles about my trip on the MLB.com site. If you google blind fan taking 30 ballpark tour from 2012, the writer was Anthony Castrovince who is still at MLB.
Found them, thanks! Your blog looks like it will be a very useful resource if/when I end up doing something similar. I will be doing plenty of reading!
Also, I'm very impressed by the dedication it must've taken to overcome the challenges this trip must pose to a blind individual, in addition to all the difficulties that already present themselves with an undertaking like this. Very admirable!
