Did I hear you well,we are counted righteous because we tithe?
Because we walk in obedience to all his commandments including paying tithe. This is the second time someone who died and came back to life has spoken about tithe. She was sent to hell for not paying tithe once.
@ChelangatT The bible says righteous is by grace through faith and not by works rest anyone should Bost.
@@periskinyua4728 but faith without works is dead. So believing that Jesus is Lord without any action to prove it disqualifies us. How do we know we have faith? Is by completely obeying the word of God. Operating in his will that is faith and it as accounted to us for righteousness. For example, someone lost in club lifestyle but they believe Jesus is Lord they don't dispute is that faith? That's not faith, faith is shown the moment they turn from clubbing to doing the will of God an living a life that glorifies God. Now the works Paul spoke about he meant people doing things they believe is good and expect to be justified by those works while not having a relationship with Jesus. For example philanthropists what they do is good works but are they doing it in alignment with God's will??? It's the same with tithing we tithe in obedience to God but we should not just obey like a rule but out of a personal relationship with Jesus. So faith and works go together. Shalom
@@periskinyua4728 btw the actions of Pharisees is a good example of works that Paul spoke about. These people believed their actions made them closer to God but they rejected Jesus. So the first step should be to believe Jesus is the son of God and then seek to do his will which will involve works. This is how we get Justified. Shalom ❤️
