The 3-day Dragon Yogis retreat at the Druk Ralung Shedrup Choling monastery ended yesterday. The participants included students from various schools across the country and local participants. The conclusion coincided with the monthly Tara Practice at the monastery.
The students found the retreat to be a meaningful way to spend their summer break. They delved into the fundamentals of Buddhism, learning about the preciousness of human life, the impermanence of everything in the six realms, karma (cause and effect), and the shortcomings of samsara.
The retreat also included interactive activities that encouraged the students to reflect on their life experiences and discussions on waste management and saving lives.
