Wait for getting older… freedom cost a lot when time came
Seems odly familiar, like I've heard about this happening before, hmm 😒
Yes, it is easy to be free and careless when daddy has money…
I wouldn't know lol. We worked our butts off for every dollar we have
Nah u barely making it by on social media. No retirement.
I guess it's good that we have other ways to make money other than social media. And we're just getting started with social media🙂 Sometimes good things take time and you have to work at it for a while. I know not many people like doing that now, living in a society that prioritizes instant gratification over slow continuous progress.
On someone else’s money.
I guess all the money we saved from working 10 years in corporate America while living below our means isn't our money 🤷
This is the kids of the old rich. Its still the same, once they get bullied by some other hippie, theyll go back to running daddy's company
I can assure you we are not kids of the old rich. I grew up picking fruit in the field, but that's something you probably know nothing about. Way to jump to conclusions though
New rich lol why can’t you just be happy and stfu.
we are happy lol. This is coming from someone who takes time out of their day to leave negative comments on TH-cam. I would focus on your own happiness before others
No stability, no security, no common sense!
Government sheep
No mortgage, no rent, no being a trapped in the system!
@@MarkandDonna that’s a true free lifestyle
There are other ways to get that. Be a live in nanny, join military, be a squatter. These are all the reasons I own my stuff and have stuff to help other people who planned poorly.
Having an adventure van debt free would qualify as rich in my book lol
You're not wrong. I definitely consider us rich even though we may not have lots of money in the bank. It took us years of working and saving to get here, but it was all worth it.
The New Rich: When you can afford to be homeless
We prefer houseless. We just take our home with us.
@@MarkandDonna I'm not judging. I just think it's funny how much money you have to have now to be nomadic around the world. And also kinda sad at the same time.
@LunaGamer25 totally agree. The cost of living and wealth inequality in this country is insane. Hoping things can change, but it's not looking good. There are ways to be nomadic for cheaper though which is why we are doing vanlife. We no longer have any electric bill, mortgage or rent and we definitely spend less now than when we were homeowners with a mortgage. That said though it still costs money and comes with making lots of sacrifices such as luxuries and space
But can you buy a politician. Oh, than I'm still worried about the old rich
There's always something to worry about. We've learned to stop living in fear though and stop stressing things out of our control
Great job with the video. Thanks!!!
Thank you!
Go Mark and Donna!
Thank you! 🙂
Oh, that winery is very cool. I must keep that in mind when I'm back out that way.
it's such an awesome spot!!
My girlfriend and I love watching yall. Her dream is to do what yall are doing lol. Not sure if I'm sold yet... I'll keep watching lol
This lifestyle definitely has pros and cons and isn't for everyone. But we love the freedom and ability to travel that it provides. Thanks for watching, and maybe we can convince you 😄
it's super cool seeing the different ideas yall had planned, the different perspectives of what yall did! had a great time following yall around asheville !
Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Beautiful scenery. Brandi is from Hendersonville next door. NC is definitely one of my favorite places to visit. I'm so happy for you guys living out your dreams. Keep it up. Much love

Hey! Looked you up because we saw your van on the highway in PA! Happy adventuring!
When we do join you guys it’s going to be for the redwoods always wanted to see them in person.
let's make it happen!
I white water rafted down the New River Gorge back in 1996. It was a blast and we ended near the New River Gorge Bridge.
We saw some rafters going down it. Sounds like a blast! If we didn't have Bella we definitely would have done this
Say hi to Bella for me 😊
She says hi!!
Amazing Update!!!! Very excited to be caught up! Keep Tripping ; )
Thank you! will do!!
cant wait to see the journey up the east coast!
We can't wait to share it!
You guys were eating good in Huston!
So good!!
Never been to Chicago, but I have always thought it to be a very beautiful city 🌆
It really is. It's worth a visit if you get the chance
I live in Northern California. So glad you enjoyed your trip
Such a beautiful area!!! We can't wait to visit again
Maybe have waterproof shoes next time. Wasnt socks neoprene?
since we live in a van our space is very limited and we don't have room to keep waterproof shoes with us. Plus it wouldn't be worth buying a pair just for this one time. the socks were neoprene though, and although our feet were cold, it was bearable
Hey, my wife Lisa found you on the Stick Figure Family group. We are subscribers now.
thanks, just subbed also!
yall are wild (no pun intended) for doing this! i would have died. glad yall are okay though !
lol it was really fun up until the end. I'm glad we can look back and laugh about it now

are u also leaving that drone behind??......................................................................................................................................................... cause i want it
😂 I'll put a sticky note with your name on it for ya 😜
Incredible!!
Amen!
🙌
Fear often does get a bad rap because it can be associated with holding back people becoming who they truly are In this context, I would agree with waving that goodbye. But fear actually is something to be understood and respected. If our intention is to wave fear goodbye entirely, then we have effectively gotten rid of reasonableness, safety, boundaries and even courage. How could someone be brave if there was no fear? Being afraid and acting anyway is after all what being brave is all about. Fear is our friend not our enemy if we listen to it carefully. If we deny one emotion, we are denying the power of all the others. The fullest expression of things like Happiness, sadness and fear is what it is to be human. Anyway, I'll get off my soapbox now and get on to cleaning my house.😅
This was just a way of saying we're not letting fear hold us back, but I see your point. I'm a firm believer in feel the fear but do it anyways, when it comes to most things at least
yes, there is so MUCH more to Chicago than just the downtown area. My favorite part are the beaches and the Lincoln Park Zoo.
we will add these to our list for next time!
Awesome video! Also what camera and lens are you using? Phenomenal quality!
Thank you! We shoot video primarily with a Sony a7siii and a Sony 16-35 GM f2. 8 lens. We also have a 70-180 f2. 8 for midrange and a 150-500 which we use for our wildlife shots
@@MarkandDonna Awesome! Thank you for the detailed response!
You are alive, that is important :)
@@cr77702 You talking to me ?
That’s way too long to spend there.
I wish we had more time. To each their own

Thank you! We love finding the beauty out in this world
