Don't feel too overwhelmed. I didn't start touching volcanoes until I was well over 500/600+ hours into the game. Easiest way to learn is to break it down and learn the smaller mechanics first before scaling up. So learn about heat deletion using steam turbines, vacuums and how heat affects items in and around them, etc... then put it all together! ONI has a bit of a learning curve, just keep that learning mindset and you'll get there! Are there any tutorials specifically you'd think you'd like to see? I'm always looking for more ideas to help teach new people to ONI

The igneous rock builds up in the vacuum chamber in a backlog, effectively storing heated material until you need to use it. Unless you're just blasting through all of the heat/power each eruption produces, that's technically a battery... a store of energy. 😀

​@@youthinkyougotgameHaving a reservoir. I made my output pipe of dirty water longer and loop around inside the room, then re-route the sink water into the farm for irrigation.

A small volcano is what I had to work with in this particular situation

If you're moving the water back into your bathroom system, you don't actually need to clean it, including water for showers. You only really need to clean it if you're using it for edible crops. Fun tip, if you have the DLC, you can make a mechanized door out of Uranium (each seed should start with a tiny bit). The small amount of radiation it produces will kill all the germs in a pool of water.

I suppose you could but these vines take FOREVER to grow wild. I'm not a fan personally of wild farms just because of the extended times, that's just me, though for a 1 dupe challenge, setting up a wild farm in a chamber w a Cl vent would be extremely useful to have in the bg

easily add one tile-space near the sieve for a storage container to be filled with sand. where an auto-sweeper could automatically refill the water sieve and then vacuum up the polluted dirt, to be sent off to feed sage hatches, pokeshells or converted into dirt at a compost. or simply stored in a 2nd container that's submerged in 200kg of water, where it can't off-gas P-oxygen. an auto-sweeper could fit above the water sieve and be added when automation is researched, refined metals & a qualified mechatronics engineer become available. polluted dirt is the product of the water sieve that @youthinkyougotgame did not address
