If you are going to use google map, find them on the map first, then you can then choose to get guidance. The water was turned off when you were there ... there is a waterfall that they control. Weren't you at Plaza Mayor?

I was there same day but by the start line and expected them to trundle through the neutral zone, but no, they sped past at 30mph and were gone in an instant :(
