If you want to look at other lenses Pen lens are hard to find and expensive but there are adapters that allow you to use Olympus Zuiko lens which are reasonably small and don't look out of place. When you take it out I would suggest getting a cheap lens cap if you loose the one with the Gothic F they are expensive

Olympus Tough cameras are known for crappy image quality, sensor irrelevant. So is any camera with lens been protected same way. Konica off road for example. Prime lens, but crappy because of extra glass added.

Good wording. CCD is not film, but has its oddities in color rendering just as film.

Very well articulated and made perfect comparison. I am veteran film photographer since 1979 and have several ccd cameras in my arsenal that I collected over the years. I agree that ccd is not the same as film, it can get close with post processing but not the same. I don't really shoot ccd cameras anymore because I do prefer to shoot film and digital from cmos cameras. I suppose there is hype on the internet and it is good because these old cameras do not go to waste. Cheers

I have a Pentax * istDL & a K100D both 6 megapixel CCD sensor cameras. My film camera is a Pentax Spotamatic SP11 So I have both and use both. I also have two CMOS sensor cameras as well. I perfer to use my modern CMOS cameras for wildlife, travel and anything important to photograph. The film and CCD cameras are more challenging to use and test my skills as a photographer. The lenses make a differnce as well as editing programs in the final pictures . The Pentax cameras tend to under espouse the pictures and I have to edit them to make the vivid colors come out of the pictures as out of camera the pictures are dark and dull looking until edited

Film is better in the light range, a digital in everything else. Film gives an indescribable feeling from the whole process, and digital devalues ​​these feelings!

I have A550 I got quite very cheap in used market recently very good condition tho in future I'm trying to find a vintage G series one it's quite amazing to have one.

That G5 was a nice surprise, I try a lot of this CCD cameras, and I have an Olympus though 3000, that I buy for 5€ and was a lovely surprise, yes you are right, is not trying at all emulate film! But is an early digital powerhouse! If you like the early digital look, not the filmic, but pure raw digital this camera is the way to go! It's a lot of fun, and solid, so you can use it without fear of breaking it! I also have a G5, and it's a superior camera! But I kind of think is trying to be something that is not wile the Olympus is what every kid in 2000 should have been shooting with

I buy a Canon though 3000 for 5€ I was expecting nothing! And I was very pleased with what I get! It really have a vintage look, I think is the most filmic camera I have, and I try a lot of them

I also got one of these this week and I'm very impressed with the quality, I have a Harley Benton telecaster too (TE-40) but on this one I had to change the pickups to emg ones and it was in 2018. Now in 2024 their guitars are much better... The only thing that didn't meet my expectations in this guitar was the color of the pickguard, in the photos it looks white but in reality it's a greenish white... But it's a matter of habit. Like at night should I use f3.5 (mine isn’t 2.8) and a lower shutter speed? And during day I guess f22 is better? Would love your thoughts. Thanks again 🤘
