You got ripped off. I can build a PC more powerful and reliable PC for a 1/4 the price. Cyber Power as been known to build junk PCs that look cool and are way overpriced for what you get. That do not last long. Other than that, happy for you. At least you brought the right mouse.

Always fun getting a new pc or your first one! I noticed that you only had one ram stick on there that came with it. I would invest a little but of money and get a second ram stick that’s a match to the one you have. Will boost performance for not a lot of $$😊

I think the younger crowd forgets how satisfying it was to buy your new PC (in a box) with all the parts you need. I think it was fun to see how in 2024 a typical consumer reacts to the prebuilt PC. Yes, they are more expensive. However, for busy folks, the convenience can be worth it. You could spend days, weeks, or even months planning a build OR just go buy one and enjoy from day one. There was one video where this guy spent 2 months planning out the perfect build. Even I was thinking, just buy something man LOL. It all goes down in value anyway. Congrats on the new PC!

That thing is going to fly when you get a second stick of ram for the first channel. What a graphics card! At 16gb is more than enough but it’s single channel at the moment. Computers run better on dual channel and mine is ten years old with 2 ram sticks of 8g each.

5:00 In my experience the Logitech G X Pro is an absolute monster, easily destroying some 120+$ headphones in sound quality while costing as low as 60$ on black Friday. I [personally] do prefer Studio Reference Headphones like the AKG K701 or if you wanna step it up a lil the K712's, just plug them straight in and get going. I'd recommend an amp for those though and since they are open back headphones you WILL hear everything around you and others WILL hear your stuff, but they offer an super high soundstage, meaning they sound pretty wide, not like they sit right on your ears and are comfy as heck... If you wanna go real fancy for little money, buy the AKG K701's used with the usb dongle of the G X Pros and just use the logitech eq. Since you have kids I'd probably go for the G X Pros though [DO NOT BUY THEM ON THE LOGITECH WEBSITE SINCE THEY ARE WAY OVERPRICED THERE!!!!!] because they go quite loud with little bleed and good noise blocking ["bleed" refers to the headphones "leaking" sound, meaning others will hear what you hear outside the headphones]. Overall: AKG K701's: If you want great soundstage and comfy headphones with awesome sound, get them with the G X Pro's usb dongle or an sep. eq app. Logitech G X Pro's: The sound can be FULLY configured using software [which is why you can buy the dongle for the akg's to make them sound better], have nuts bass that goes super low, have an great over all sound, offer surround sound [useful for shooters or immersive games/movies], are pretty loud, cheap and have great passive noise blocking. Edit: The EQ only works on PC, both headphones should work with Xbox, PC, PlayStation, nintendo switch, your phone, or basically anything with an headphone jack or usb port. And a little hint for the future: Turn the PC box up side down, helps a lot ;) but BE FREAKING CAREFUL WHEN DOING SO!!! [i have, well... experiences... Just saying brand new NZXT H9 Elite, not watching, **CLONK** [me watching at a broken floor and shattered dreams: ] ]

I watched a ton of yt vids when researching for my own rig back in the day so that what I would recommend to anyone who is trying to gain more knowledge in this space. As for channels there a alot of good ones out there. Some who go over everything about pc and some who mostly post benchmark results to show how different parts perform on different games and programs (usually for fps numbers [frames per second] as that's the main focus of a gaming pc).

Got the vid recommended on the side of another video and just had to watch. Love to see other people getting their pcs, wether it's their first one overall, first gaming one, first higher end one or just a new one in general. And sure since I've put together my own rig, my one thought was "hope she wasnt ripped of too too much". But at the I've also gotten a prebuilt before when I knew nothing about pcs and at the end of the day, it doesn't matter. All I hope is that you're enjoying your new pc to the fullest and that you're happy with the purchase. Love from the pcmr community
