Yes! Along with getting people interested in violin as cool instrument, and exploring the fundamental sounds of metal compositions, exposing people to new bands is my other goal for this channel!

Thank you again 🙏 you know I procrastinated this one for 3 months because I was dreading the process of transcribing by ear. But once I sat down to do it I learned and recorded it in a week! Most other videos there are guitar tabs available which helps me learn it on violin. Another AK cover coming soon.

Thank you 🙏 Funny you mention Forteresse. A while back I attempted to do a Short covering the intro to Les Sang des Heroes but scrapped it, but I might give the one you mention a try. Black metal tends to be hard to make a good cover because it’s often grinding sixteenth notes relentlessly and it’s hard to have that stamina with all the shoulder work it takes on the violin. I did recently do a Taake cover and if you check it out you can see how it kind of works for violin because Hoest had a very non traditional bm riffing style. Anyway, thanks for tuning in 🤘🏻
