This is an updated video of my Willoughby Junction HO scale model railroad. As previously mentioned, this was inspired from a Twilight Zone episode called “A Stop at Willoughby” where Garrett Williams (an overworked ad executive) finds solace from the pressures of a fast paced corporate life on his train ride home from the city. He dreams his train stops at an idyllic town from years gone by where everyone is friendly and charming, the band is playing in the town gazebo and little kids are catching fish. The conductor encourages Mr. Williams to visit and says “Willoughby, where a man can live his life full measure”. One thing I don’t have in the town is Willoughby Funeral home. Since it’s a Twilight Zone themed layout I thought why not add a crashed alien ship and perhaps a “Bigfoot” up on the mountain. I hope you enjoy it.
