Hello!
I am Jay and I am an alcoholic.
It took me a while to get used to that phrase, but it is part of my recovery.
After I stopped drinking, I started feeling resentments for all the time that I pissed away. It took some time, but now there is a peace that I have, both from just being sober, the other comes from my ongoing work with my sponsor, my higher power and my program.
Realizing that life is too short, and that there are many people out there who have been down similar roads as I have, I wish to share my experiences, strength and hope with all of you- let it be through the lens of recovery and alcoholism, or travel, or just accepting and making the most of life on life's terms.
I hope you enjoy my adventures and can get something out of my videos.

I got sober again after a bad relapse. As I was going through my pics and videos I reflected on all that I have been blessed with over the past 2 years. There is so much, and so many people have helped. Being Powerless over alcohol, God, AA, NA and my real friends, and many others throughout the US have all been a huge part of my sober living. I am currently getting about 25mpg on the Honda VTX 1800 with a Power Commander 3. The Motorcycle should get around 32 to 37 mpg. I can he heavy handed at times and I have nothing but open 2 lanes for days where I am at. the front tire on my Honda VTX 1800 was leaking air pretty fast. After we sprayed the tire with soapy water, we found that the rim had a substantial leak. We removed the tire off of the rim and this is what we saw. We had to clean the rim and tire, making sure to remove all the oxidation and debris from both.

The new VTX windshield was sitting way too high so we show how we adjusted it, dropping it down. It's like installing the shield because we needed to take it almost completely off.
