Imagine watching in a real Jumbotron
I had one of their songs, popped on an auto playlist on my main TH-cam page, a few minutes from writing this comment. I thought it was A.i when i heard it, so i decided to look into, just to make sure. Thanks for making this video, it helped conformed my suspicions. I hope more people discover that it's not real music.
This one has my head scratching honestly.
How come?
If it is AI music (which it is, lets be honest), it can exist just fine, but it will be consumed in the same forgettable way that all such music has been...like Muzak (TM).
But is it not wrong to deceive people in to thinking they are listening to real human made music? I have a strong feeling that most of the people listening to Goobers stuff would stop if they knew the truth.
@@Astronaughtytbh I believed Appalachian Anarchy to be the only semi - real ones (I knew there was AI buried somewhere in there but I thought they were just taking samples and modifying them to make the music), but now when I decided to dig a bit deeper... I have a shadow of a doubt creeping back. But tbh I'll keep listening to them just for fun and because "I *want* to believe"
@@BLET_55artem55 The most recent stuff they're putting out sounds like it's real, human made music. They are definitely transitioning over from the AI stuff slowly but surely. The issue that still remains is that they haven't divulged the fact they have been using AI to create their music up until now.

I don't believe so. I believe they are associated with "Appalachian Anarchy" and "Mighty Happy Crew".
But they are AI made as well.

It's funny, I had them on my Spotify Weekly Discovery playlist and immediatley thought the same thing. I noticed the art and then checked the profile to see all the different genres they produced. I would like to be proven wrong about this being AI, but even the way it sounds is slightly "fake". I know it's a banjo from an application so that explains some of it. However, I can't shake the feeling it's generated. Their Spotify profile says they have been making music since 2008 too which can be proven almost 100% untrue by checking their channel and Spotify. They supposedly have a clip of them actually playing banjo on a video called "The Deadly Banjo Carnival (With Live Banjo)" and even show some of the track in a program (sorry, I am not a producer so I coudln't say what it is)
Coming from someone who's been producing music on a hobby basis for nearly a decade and who's generated over 1000 songs with SUNO AI for fun, I can tell it's AI generated. It's also funny how the banjo doesn't sound the same or as complicated in videos where he's trying to prove its real and human made. He's also started making covers or remixes of songs recently, and I think I've figured out how he's manipulating the AI to do those kinds of things as well, might make a video on it soon. I'm glad you're being critical about it, because AI music is everywhere these days sadly. And very few know about it.

I had a feeling it was AI too, it was mostly the rapid release of music that felt way too advanced for a matter of days, sometimes multiple uploads a day. Also all the cover art is AI which usually wouldn't be much of a give away but when you combine it with the other signs it just screams AI made.
I mean I use AI generated art for my newer releases too, so I'll agree that's not a sign on its own. But the fact he pumped out 70 songs in 90 days in a lot of different genres whilst seemingly never released any music before the last 3 months.. it kinda seems weird. Glad you're spotting these things and that you're critical.

Correct, the video has nothing to do with "rhythm", nor does the title. It's "riddim", as in the genre.
THANK YOU MAN! I felt insane, as the music sounds like some other music, and the art looks kinda AI-i So I was also looking into the links as you did to verify if he had links with AI. As it all *felt* like it was at least AI related. Even if he make the video covering the process behind the song, just the fact that he has experience making documents makes me feel like the video could be fake in certain ways. For the life of me, I can't understand why people hate Peter Coffin for trying to teach Marxism, or his brother Patrick for developing some tracks with AI and then recording the best of them with real musicians. And yes, AI hate in general is misplaced hate against late-stage capitalism. If housing, transit, and medical were affordable, and people had decent jobs, and had a choice to use AI instead of being used by AI (reverse centaur - see Cory Doctorow) things would be great.

I want to note that this video was made to just vent an idea I had about the whole thing. I will also say that I do not agree with Peters conclusion. "Coffin" being so pro AI and accepting of it to the point where he makes a 2 hour documentary about it all, does in my mind point to more definite proof of "Mighty Happy Crew" being an AI content farm rather than making "human made" music.
