how to film yourself cinematically
มุมมอง 1063 หลายเดือนก่อน
🔴 This is another tutorial I made on how to make cinematic videos, It's a short one, but I wanted to make a better, less detailed version. I just wanted to tell a story with this one to let you know you can make anything cinematic when you use your imagination. It's only up from here, and I appreciate everyone who's supported me on this journey so far. Remember, life is a series of moments, and...

🔴 I was highly stressed while developing this video idea, and I knew I needed to make a change. I was so concerned about blowing up on TH-cam that I disregarded how I felt. This video is about my emotional rollercoaster of depression, realization, and execution. I've created a consistent routine for myself every day to become a better version of myself. This video drew HEAVY inspiration from "A...

🔴This is a bit of a vulnerable video about my fear of failure and regret. I pushed a lot of boundaries in terms of comfortability and creativity in this video. I tried many new things so I hope you guys enjoy it! It's only up from here, and I appreciate everyone who's supported me on this journey so far. If you want my input I think what this is missing is bits of unfiltered you if that makes sense. For me that involves the idea that: reaching out to people only has consequences if it works, and that people need more real and deep connection over things that matter to them. Ig me leaving this comment is actually a good example of that exact idea lol also I think humility is the secret sauce, genuinely
Ive made a couple videos on connection, communication, and being mindful and genuine with things that actually matter. I think I’m interpreting you saying that you wanted a more genuine version of me outside of the structure of the video and script. Basically displaying more of myself to be reachable and personable?
"the longer you wait the more you kill the passion" I like that
might wanna consider being an editor or a director with the ability to make something with this much production value
I don’t know, I don’t think I’m that good 😂 but I appreciate the love 🙏🏾
Your video is very well done keep going man
appreciate that 🙏🏾
This is gonna be a long one. First off I absolutely loved the video. As someone who is trying to get into filmmaking himself I was really inspired by what you manage to do even at such an early point in your career. When it comes to what you are talking about I personally generally agree. A lot of men are confused and unsure of what their purpose is in this world. Since women don't necessarily need a man to take care of them a lot of peoples traditional image of what a man is supposed to be and do has been lost. Now there are two possible choices to be made: either figure out a new definition of masculinity that doesn't primarily revolve around taking care of a woman and some kids (though that for a lot of people might still be an important aspect of their lives), or the other option would be to find a new definition something that can uplift everyone and let people express themselves freely. (maybe there is even a third option as @zionflanders376 suggested which would be just getting rid of the labels i.e. realizing that what society deems manliness is just that - something society deems its not governed by any laws of nature or anything) Also just because I was curious I googled it and there is toxic femininity, its basically the same as toxic masculinity: forcing yourself to perform a role because of internalized societal pressures. I know this might be corny and I also don't really do it myself but maybe read some older literature about these topics. There was an era of "male feminism" that basically talked about all the stuff you do and they have done a lot of thinking about this stuff already so maybe you are able to find something useful to you (maybe some queer perspectives that actually apply surprisingly well even to us straights). anyways those were my thoughts. really liked the video I will definitely watch more of your stuff, much love from Austria! 🇦🇹❤
You're an absolute genius man
thank you ✊🏾
you deserve more views, keep it up bro!!
🙏🏾
This is beautiful!
✊🏾
Bro this is a great video. Production and the message. Just motivated me. Only a matter of time
✊🏾
This vid came up on my feed. I didn't look at your views/subs/likes until I had already seen a few mins, and I'm so surprised. Such a high quality vid - this is why TH-cam is so amazing, you're well on the way bro. Have subbed and can't wait to see you grow
thank you 🙏🏾
Good edit brother , keep going with these video , feels like we are all in the same creative path
hey! rlly liked the video like yo i feel loads better like im getting out of my slump. But one problem was i couldnt really hear you speak? liek idk if its because theres no subtitles or maybe ur voice is two low for me to really pick up on, could you add captions for the next vid?
Yes i usually have captions on my videos, I don’t actually know what parts you are talking about. Unless you are talking about the B roll videos that weren’t supposed to have sound really? Other than that I thought my audio was pretty clear. Thanks for the feedback tho!!!
Yo the editing is fire🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yessir!!!
Love the vid!

Absolutely stolen from Vuhlandes chanel 😮. Bro, try to find your own style instead of being someone else (but in a shittyway)
I don’t know how you watched this video and thought that I stole something from him lol, video clearly is in my style if you watched any of my other videos. This type of video is also a trend and has basic aspects of cinematography and film. This gotta be rage bait, appreciate the comment tho 🙏🏾
Non rage here, just warning people about who you are. The editing, vocal tone, colors, even the advices you give are the same. Bro, don't play on YT, try to be yourself and not to lie to people. Easy as that
Awesome vid it definitely helped me🔥👏🏾I had to sub. I can’t wait to see more
superb video, continuous it's really incredible +1
gracias por este video. greetings from Argentina
From Argentina!?! That’s amazing thank you 🙏🏽
@@iamchrisporter yes, from argentina. today celebrating ⚽ hahaha. I hope you keep posting these videos.
I think I like this side of TH-cam better
me too you should def stay here!
it's a very thin line to skirt as a man when it comes to topics like these. I personally don't align with a lot of the stuff said by the likes of peterson and tate but they are a 100% valid reaction of the sad state that men are in now, especially in the younger generations. I could say a million and one things but it wouldn't be enough. Overall, great vid and keep the hard work, man. You got this.
there are many things I do not agree with when it comes to them also but he was definitely spot on with his analysis of the modern man or woman. Appreciate the encouragement as well 🙏🏽
@@iamchrisporter Of course! I believe a huge step we all have to take is being vulnerable with one another amongst men, in both cheering on and holding accountable. If we cannot be kind to ourselves then what hope do we have of ever getting out of this mess?
Great editing bro fire🔥
being a man is realizing you arent just a man. thats just a label. we're already whole, life itself without labels
We N... Need Strong Men

Nice seeing you. One question, why did you chose cinematography as a career? Don't you feel that you may regret it? And why?
i actually didn’t choose cinematography, I just always wanted to be a TH-camr for my career. I put some of my other videos on private but I wasn’t engaging in cinematography at first, they were just talking head videos. I learned about it for one reason: to keep people interested while I talk and as I kept going I enjoyed it and got better. I don’t feel I’ll regret it because this is something I always wanted to do and there is a lot of opportunities in this career if you get through the beginning stages of the journey. I’m also helping people along the way while I make these videos so that’s a plus. I hope that answers your questions!!
Bro please Write a book
ebook maybe?
How did you record in 5:50? How did you make the camera stay there?
