Lombardini Diesel Genset
My Lombardini 3 Cylinder Aircooled DIY Genset. The 11LD626-3 is rated at 40hp at 3000 rpm. It is now set to run at 1500rpm driving the Stamford generator for 50Hz operation.

This is my 1st Italian diesel. Found it as a standby fire pump. it will be use to drive my Stamford brushless 7.5KVA 12 wires alternator. Updated video is here th-cam.com/video/sizbeqqwXx4/w-d-xo.html

this is how i test the injection unit from another engine. i use my JP1 injection pump to check the spray and calibrate the pressure.

crank start a 1951 Lister JP1

Starting my 1951 JP1 in HD video mode. my 4 wheels trolley is on uneven floor giving a little of rocking moment. otherwise the engine is dead smooth. the 2 in elbow at the rear of the head allow me to fill her up with coolant above head level for this warming up run at about 450rpm. it will soon be coupled to a 12 wires 7.5KVA Stamford brush-less pancake gen head soon making it a rather mismatc...

Lister JP1 serial # CS92909. 1 of 3 sold to Harrison and Crossfield of Manchester on 24th Aug 1951 for export to Malaya then. 1st run after overhaul. perfectly smooth and balanced. Engine rest on a trolley unbolted. tick over at about 400rpm for warming up. need a correct governor spring. better HD quality video to come

My last run before reluctantly parting my CS for sea duty. Engine 8327616 will be mounted on a 10 m boat as the main engine to cruise the Pacific Ocean soon. She is expected to clock more than 20,000 hours for this tour of duty. Stay tune. more to come from the seafarer whom had bought it from me.

1st run out of the box but with balancer bearings changed and freeplay shimmed to spec. fuel injection timing retime. she starts instantly without decompression with 2 x Trojan 105 battery she bangs loud.
How can I get the spare parts of the compressor? Can you provide me the spare parts manufacturing factory or website

I'm probably late, but Lombardini is a subsidiary of Kohler engine, a US company. They should be able to get you parts.

What is the problem if the ignition switch is off but won't stop immediatly,the engine will always run and maybe 15 seconds left it will be stop ...

It would be interesting to see how it is fitted in the boat and how it runs - it will need an 18" prop in direct drive with a pitch of 16-18"
