That is a problem with one pressure valve stuck. That coffee machine need periodically descale cycle. Buy good descaler coffee machine solution and run few descale cycles and maybe will help and sort that issue. You could try with vinegar 9 percentage concentration in dilution at 50/50 or 70/30 percentage for descaling, or you can use 500ml of undiluted 5 percentage vinegar from wilko. Run one or two cycles, leavit over night and after 12-15 hours, run cycles until finish all vinegar remain in that tank. For cleaning, run ajother 300ml with distilled water until any vinegar taste in water dissapear. You could add and disolve in first 150 ml of distilled water a quarter teaspoon with sodium bicarbonate (baking soda).and another 200 ml run only clear distilled water. After each cycle of cleaning you will need to empty that tray.

@@kadinhoneyfield I found the fix. Before you heat up the water, pump it through both the steamer and the main insert where the portafilter goes, then switch it over to the super hot mode. Be careful as the O-ring for the portafilter can melt if you do multiple poor due to the machine getting so hot. This machine is okay. Mine is old and it doesn't have enough pump pressure to create a crema. I just got a new machine off Amazon today because I want to improve my espresso game so we will see where it goes. Personally, I think there are better options than the FNC1, but it'll do if you just want an espresso. Advice I can give you regarding the machine is that the grind matters a lot. The more ground the beans the more acidic it may taste, so finding a good balance is key to not destroying your mouth with acid and getting a good, bold flavor, but even then I can't really get a good extraction with a crema and good flavor.

This is because bettas are also a species of gourami, so their behaviour is similar

Hi JimBob. I'm sorry you feel that way. But the point of the test was to test recycle time - not the amount of flash bursts (As seen at 0:07) :-) As the recycle time became too slow, it was time to stop the test :-)

I didn't count the number of bursts, but you might be right. In that case, the Ladda is (still) the better buy :-) However, this test is mainly about recycle time :-)

@@thomasrasmussen1751 You misunderstood as I did not put it correctly, I mean rechargeable cycle, eneloop regular the white ones can recharge up to 2100 times whereas the Ikea Ladda can only recharge 500 times. From what I have found out, the Ladda is exactly same as the eneloop pro, there is a guy did the test on youtube. I believe the are manufactured in the same factory in Japan. They are like 99% identical.

Part of the nest can be seen in the upper right corner of the tank, bur a lot of it is hidden by the frame 😊

Hallands Menved I’m afraid I cant help you there :-( The male made a nest 4-5 times in a year without me doing anything (no changes in water level, temperature etc..) so I don’t know what triggered the behavior. Sorry...

Well, the Ladda batteries are woking fine two years down the road :-) I haven't noticed any decrease in performance and they have become my go to choice of AA and AAA batteries. A few months back, I ordered some more to replace my eneloops as they eventually stop working. Just like you, I've had eneloops that gave up after a few years, and I've got some really old ones that still perform quite well. I remember seing the same research regarding 1900mah vs 2450mah eneloops. To me, recycle time is more important than number of bursts pr battery: once recycle time becomes too slow, I switch batteries anyway (this applies for wedding photography more than studio work, of course..). The Laddas perform jut as well as the eneloops (standard and pros) - albeit at a much lower price :-)

@@thomasrasmussen1751 Thanks for the reply. I've always kept my batteries in the same groups of 4 so each cell in that group has the same cycles and experiences. Of those sets that failed I assume it's just one cell. I'll use those in remote controls around the house, or whatever. I'm glad to hear your experience with the Ikea Ladda batteries. I'm a real estate photographer and don't need fast recycle, but it doesn't hurt. Reliability is important though. I use up to 9 flashes at a time (and could use a lot more if I wanted to carry them). If I have them all going at once and one doesn't fire there is a chance I won't catch it if I don't look at every frame on my tablet.

It makes sense that fast recycle times aren't crucial to you in real estate photography, but reliability is important to all photographers - no matter what the subject might be. I'm almost embaressed to say that my batteries are not grouped, as it makes perfect sense to do so. However, I have not had any issues..so far :-) I was just wondering: When using multiple flashes, there should be some kind of audible warning in case one or more doesn't fire. It would be quite handy, I guess. And it could save you a bit of time, since you would immediately know that the shot had to be done again, without reviewing frames on your tablet. Maybe that feature is already out there - who knows? :-)

Maybe.. this is, however, just a small clip. So I guess it just shows a few minutes, but not all of her behaviour :-)

Hi Tim :-) The temperature was 25-26 degrees celcius/78-79 degrees fahrenheit. My male pearl changes colours as well. Especially the redishness on his chest can vary quite a bit. I think this is normal.

Hi Jason :-) Thank you for your comment! Wow - thats great! I really hope you get some fry this time! As for the care for fry: I have no experience in that, unfortunately :-( I would guess the same water/temp./light conditions as the adults. However less waterflow, fry-safe filter, and 4-5 small meals pr day. I did this with some baby halfbeaks and it seemed to work (Until they got eaten...). As for food: I have some "Liquifry No.1" at the ready, in case my pearls try to spawn again (It's not a personal product endorsement, it was simply recommended to me at my LFS). Nice, I just inherited exactly the same machine from my grandparents, care to explain how to use it "properly"? I use it the same way as OP and it makes pretty good coffee IMO

Nothing wrong at all w said procedure considering the machine. Just got one from me mum and it works well. Again for what it is.

Hello HantuBorneo :-) I'm pretty sure you can. I've used different brand batteries in different chargers and never had a problem. I currently charge both IKEA and Eneloop batteries in an IKEA charger. But if in doubt, please consult the users manual of the charger in question.
