After seeing your gameplay up to this point, I think it's safe to say that looting and missions are far away much less profitable and time-conscious, compared to bossing every cycle, even if you're venturing all the way down to Death Row, which ends up requiring super top-of-the-line armor and weapons, anyway, so it isn't usually a viable option for newbies or even many experienced players. But I do think looting is a nice change of pace sometimes, and it still gives that boost of serotonin anytime you find something really good, even if it would have taken a fraction of the amount of time to loot the same items, if not, better from a boss. I also happened to be following your same build, as well, minus the Machine Gun proficiency you started adding into at the end. I saw some advice that Rifle-Shotgun-Explosives was a nice way to go for being relatively cost-efficient, and easy to use for less experienced players, so I am pretty interested in your rationale for going for Machine Guns, since they happen to be a crowd-control weapon, just as Shotguns, and cost a lot to maintain for grinding purposes. Regarding Shotguns, I was pretty shocked to see the difference in DPS, comparing it to Rifles during that section where you brought up the DF Wiki and was comparing the two. Since they're not as good with grinding compared to Rifles, let alone Machine Guns, I'm starting to wonder what benefits they have aside from knockback and cheaper ammo. One last note I wanted to talk about was your way of grinding. I honestly kind of just backstep around the block when grinding, so I never really thought about going to an open field or a soccer field on a map to do it, since there's always the risk of getting trapped afterwards once you get in there. But then, I think you re-logged to reset the aggro, which also resets your stamina, which is a really neat tip I never knew I could do before, so thanks for that! Anyway, really enjoyed this one! I find it really interesting how quickly you can progress so long as you get over the hump of travelling the dangerous path from Fort Pastor to Secronom Bunker really early on. I was lowkey sweating seeing your energy so low a lot of the time, but you managed to survive! As a non-GM player, it makes me wonder what level is viable to start going bossing, though, when I eventually get to Fort Pastor or Secronom Bunker (currently level 33), since I heard that there's a loot cap for non-GMs until a certain level. Not sure if that applies to looting, as well. I also never knew that Flaming Rumblers and Longarms could be so slow and decently easy with a group, at least, compared to some crazy ones like Flaming Titans, Wraiths, Giant Spiders, and so on. It's like a pick-your-poison sort of deal, where you figure out what bosses you can comfortably do, and leave the others for if it's more convenient or you have the gear to survive them. Aggro's always tough to deal with, too, so it makes sense why so many people boss in multiplayer rather than singleplayer, even despite some lag or latency issues. Anyway, nothing more to say other than this was really informative. It honestly felt like a super long movie. Then again, that's kind of what livestreams are! Good work, once again!

Super cool to see early game progression content in Dead Frontier! I usually only see a lot of endgame videos nowadays on the newest weapons or events. Oh, and I can't believe you went to Fort Pastor so soon! I was pretty scared to move on to each outpost, so back when I made my first account I didn't even get there until level 50. Also, I really liked how you took the time to talk about some tips in passing, like the types of monsters you might encounter, using the DFProfiler map to map out a route. It really helps with knowing what your thought process is as you play, and I'm sure it helps for newer players who see this video, too. Anyway, this was a chill video! Much appreciated, Stacbor!
