On Wednesday, the El Monte Union community came together to celebrate the long-awaited grand opening of the Bobby Salcedo Student Union at Mountain View High School, which will provide a cafeteria, multipurpose room and ASB spaces for our students!

Vikings got spirit!

Students from Mountain View High School's "Zoo Crew" Engineering CTE program lay in the irrigation lines and bubblers a hands-on rehearsal for their design-and-build zoo habitats projects.

As part of El Monte Union’s “Go Green” initiative, Mountain View High School in El Monte, CA students planted 30 fruit trees donated by the The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation! The fruit trees will contribute to Mountain View’s farm-to-table culinary arts CTE program and bolster the school’s National Wildlife Federation Eco-Schools designation.

Our annual College Night at South El Monte High School provided students and parents the opportunity to explore more than 35 colleges and universities and learn more about what steps to take to enter a two- or four-year university!

Students from our Early College Academy at South El Monte High School visited Rio Hondo College, where they got acquainted with what it means to be a college student!

El Monte Union actively collaborates with local law enforcement, including the El Monte Police Department, to ensure our campuses are safe and our students are prepared for any circumstance. Lock down drills are conducted regularly at every campus.
