No one on TH-cam knows what this mysterious sequel is. Very funny. Normally this noise is exhaust leaking from between the exhaust manifold and the head under boost conditions. It usually happens at a low pressure and as the engine and exhaust become hotter and hotter and change shape the noise can go away in some cases or take more turbo drive pressure to keep making noise. Some trucks have gaskets that can be installed or replaced, broken exhaust studs or warped exhaust manifolds that you can replace or machine flat. In this case it was just a poorly sealed EGR block-off plate.

All you had to do to make your project easier is make sure you have a spent shell casing. And heat the plastic casing of on the bottom where the metal is hot any plastic is marinating then just take a pair of pliers and pour the plastic shell casing out of the metal housing and then clean it up and then all you have to do then is insert your now get right in there with some glue or something. You don't have to take a chance on sending your fingers off by using a hand sander like you did that's very dangerous. I took the plastic housing out by just eating the prostituting up around the metal casing in it poured right out after it melted really easy. Please give that a try and do a video on it so he wants to see how easy my idea is to do he might be really surprised on the outcome of it and how easy it is to do for you to make more than. I'm really looking forward to seeing your next video about this project. And any other projects that does with spent shell casings Okay.

I like this but I would have went with electrical conduit instead, but I have a whole bunch of it lol. I haven’t priced it for a while but I wonder which is cheaper now a days. The pvc or the electrical conduit?

Same problem, checked everything but the exhaust up pipe. The videos for checking the up pipe seam ridiculous…best I can figure is f¥ck it! 😂

My question is, why not just heat the brass up and remove the plastic insert, instead of doing all that extra work?

How does it perform in the wind and rain

Can you tell me where you got the bracket parts from and did you modify the brackets or just found the exact ones and bolted in. Having same issue like 3 times a week and I have new clamps and boot.

There's a man that lives in Wallace Park that built a camper in the bed of his truck using free pallets tossed out by a business on Liberty Street. They are so plentiful here a house built a gorgeous 8ft fence enclosing their backyard with those same pallets

Switch to a METAL ammo box, it will help a little, but having a wire of sufficient length to ground the set IS a good idea. It will help.

Water Pipe foam insulation may be good for covering PVC or maybe pool noodles - not sure really.

I has an idea to do a PVC frame build on a small utility trailer, something I could create to pull around w/an electric bike or riding mower, etc., that I could live inside of for awhile. Anyways, I'd probably cover the floorboard of the trailer w/something insulating, maybe rubber mats. I was also looking at those Insulated Ice Fishing Tents - have you ever tried using one of those in the bed of your truck? I had the idea of putting that type of insulated tent inside of a bit larger one.
