I liked how before Crockett played the masterpiece the Mexicans would bombared them with the canons every night till the last day of the Alamo defenders life until Crockett played it every was silent and no canons were fired after that Crockett’s words: it’s amaze what a little harmony would do.

That tune didn't exist at the time, though Crockett *was* a violinist and fiddled to drown out Deguello after getting tired of hearing it.

The sad thing in this movie. Jim bowie saying to that black man you’re my property til the day I die. That comes from the devil. Jesus/God did not create people to own other people as property. That’s the work of the devil. Jesus/God allow the Civil War to take place because he had to purge America of the sin of slavery. The majority of white people wanted nothing to do with slavery. It was a few that was listening to the devil. But even Black people throughout human history have had slaves. Indians of had slaves. Egyptian’s had slaves. Even today people in the Middle East have slaves. So don’t just point a finger at white people. God hates slavery.

20th anniversary

Man i just finished visiting Goliad and San Jacinto . People tend to forget the great little wonders of Texas.

This scene never fails to amaze me. Seeing how much both sides truly enjoyed what Crockett did truly drives home the realization that we can be different sides of any battle but in the end we're not all that different. And listening to it eith acoustic headphones on for the first time literally gave me goosebumps.

such an awesome scene, blew me away first time I watched it

Very nicely done in terms of slowing down a piece of music. And speaking of this song and Watchmen. I kind of think that this song (With how Gothic and Dark it sounds) would fit better with something Batman related as opposed to something Watchmen related. Hell. I would love to hear this in the next Matt Reeves Batman film. But what do I know? Not much more needs to be said. God bless and Merry Early Christmas.
