Episode 83: Where is Paola Miranda Rosa?
Paola Miranda Rosa, 31, vanished from Wekiva Springs State Park on December 18, 2021. Last seen on a video created by an unnamed eyewitness, her car was found in the park despite initial denials by a ranger.
The investigation by Osceola County Sheriff's Office was criticized for being inadequate, suggesting suicide or alligator attack with little evidence. Her family, unsatisfied, conducted their own searches, hired a PI, and is now pushing for FBI involvement, especially after the lead detective was added to a Brady list for misconduct. Paola remains missing, with her family advocating for further investigation.
Stefanie was able to speak directly to the Miranda family. You won't believe what she was told!

The Bloody Benders were a family of serial killers active in Labette County, Kansas, from 1871 to 1873. I’m confused. This case doesn’t add up. I heard missy was shot and hit with a hammer 🔨 Then people are saying, the killer had no weapon when he/she broke in that church the morning, missy was murdered🤷🏼‍♂️ if that’s true. How was missy shot if she left her gun in the truck?

@@nolanrizzo3812 We've never seen any factual reports saying she was shot. The only wounds that have been officially confirmed are puncture wounds (believed to be from bludgeoning). And it's believed the killer collected the hammer at the church. It is indeed a sad and confusing case. Thanks for your comment and your listen! 🩶

38:20 sorry wow!!! You think even if they thought to collect any samples of semen or blood etc ....they'd also then store it properly so it doesn't degrade!?!? Obviously there's no DNA back then but why state all that acting like collecting dna was normal back then? 🤣😂🙄 Almost all bodily fluids saved in old cases is unusable for DNA tests as it's not stored correctly and got degraded. So kinda a silly thing to even bring up. And you didn't mention anything about these points.

And I think it's obvious it was probably a long term lover/BF that met up at the love shack... I've always thought that's what 90% likely happened 🤷🏼‍♀️ The shredding of his car top...and other clues all point to it and the guy with dark hair was short just like that pathologist said was someone short who stabbed him too. And spaghetti and a short dark Italian man? Hmmmm too bad DNA wasn't saved carefully 😂

Ummmm there was a Leading man shortage in the early 40s cuz of WWII ....I mean duh 😂🤣 I'm floored no one thought of this when you said that. Almost all young men and older into their 30s were in the war in some capacity. Pretty basic. It was not cuz there's some huge shortage of men in theater, I mean you really thought there were so few hot leading men in the early 40s just suddenly when that was not an issue ever before? 🤷🏼‍♀️ And I'm almost 100% sure she wasn't a lesbian at all....she just said that. Cuz she was obsesssd with him after he died and as you stated and I've read....she dated only men who looked like him? Huh. But she's gay? So yea not so much imo. So it wasn't just some best friend etc she was in love with him 100%.

@6Haunted-Days yeah, that's probably an obvious one! His career would have slightly overlapped with the war in 1942, but yes, it's definitely a reason for a shortage in the whole of the 40s. Great point!

Dana’s last victim - Dora - lived in the senior community of Sun City which is now part of Menifee. My parents had just moved there a few weeks before her murder.
