    I like Orbit products too! Mine didn't work well for a different reason. The light spring that moves the spoon, that bumps the sprinkler along, was not in the right position. Perhaps this happened in shipping. Your video is sure to help some folks water better...!

    Too long to get to the point and very poor camera work. Very jerky movement of the sprinkler making it hard to watch.

    Any idea the size of the belt I got one the same size as the factory one but it seems way too tight my spring looks like it’s completely compressed… but it can be compressed a little with the ratchet strap … I’ve used the edger on 6 lawns since new and it’s chewed through two belts now already

      @@chrisgertie346 within the first year I had two belts break on me. I’m not sure if it was user error or just crappy belts but the one I have on there now, has been a champ. Here’s a link to the belt I bought from Lowe’s: www.lowes.com/pd/MTD-Edger-Belt/3319310

    U never showed how to change blade

    • @Kevin-yl2og
      @Kevin-yl2og 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @gloriaoflin5521 remove bolt with 15/16 socket, take off blade, replace with new blade, torque up bolt at 20 ft/lb. New blade can be bought from Lowe’s or other big box store.

    Update: gap was not spaced correctly. I needed a .030 gap in the spark plug. After correcting the gap, the mower ran perfectly. Found the torque specs for the plug, too: 14 lbs/ft

      www.lowes.com/pd/MTD-Edger-Belt/3319310 Hey Preston, here is the link to the belt I used for the video. At my local box store, this was the only size lawn edger belt they sold. Apologies for not specifying that in the video.

      Good luck trying to get that top flange nut off. Ending up stripping mine. Going in now to have it removed at over $100.00 I'm sure. Belt was 30 bucks too. Complete garbage...
