I heard another version of this song recently on an ESPN commercial and was like I know that mellody even though I never heard the song before. Used the Shazam App to find out it was the Minnie Riperton version. Some additional research led me here. The Smooth Jazz stations used to play this back in the late 90's which is probably the last time I heard it. Definitely going on the playlist.

This song and “Forever” did not appear on the original audiocassette version, which is the one I listened to back when I was in school in the 1990s. The CD version was released later.
