This is the main reason I need more guitars, to have a standard E one, a D one (no drop), A drop D one (yes drop), maybe an E flat standard or D standard, then more than one for crazy tunings to mess around in.. Basically, I need at least 12 guitars, so I can have one for each note and look up or create a new tuning for each one.

What is this type of playing called and how can I learn it ?
Short answer : you learn that in your room after watching a to of anime. Longer answer : fingerstyle guitar picking (technique for the right hand) is mostly taught in Classical Guitar classes. But it wont sound the same because of the repertoire of note choice done by the left hand, which is imo more akin to Japanese music, especially pop and rock japanese music, which yeah you find a lot of in anime openings and endings. More like openings for happy stuff in Major tonality (here the 2 lower strings are tuned to F and A which constitute a Major 3rd) , and more like anime endings for sadder stuff in Minor tonality (that would be the minor 3rd between the A and the C strings). Roughly. But it should be good for a start ! :)
