You should say "Reason why, it's a Yamaha".. 😊
You got this suspension set up is key also but confidence as well
It's prolly that track you ride at that is giving you issues... 😂
@@ochoabtor9597 I’ve ridden my Kawi at many tracks, the issues would follow me. The Yamaha has fixed many of the issues I was having. I’ve been able to find a comfortable balance on the bike with the stock components. Much happier with the Yamaha. Nothing wrong with Kawi, it’s just doesn’t suite me well, just as a Yamaha doesn’t suite some riders well. Cheers 🤙
Hey! Im riding my honda 250 2013 but it doesnt feel powerful enough for me..should i buy newer 250 or hop on 450?
@@coltbs785 I’d consider a couple things. Your weight, riding ability and where you’ll be riding the bike. If you’re a novice rider a 250 can be more fun and easier to corner. Also, if you only trail ride the 250 would also be great, they still have amazing top end and feel a little lighter and more playful when hopping over rocks and tree stumps, just more mellow ride all around. I’m 208lbs and currently jumping 50’ jumps straight out of corners… that’s just my current mindset is learning supercross. It would be much more challenging for me on a 250 and possibly a little more dangerous. I count on that 450 power a lot if I slightly mess up a corner I can still make jumps. So it’s really hard to say one or the other, just depends on you specifically. Sorry for the long answer. I’m very excited for you colt and I think whatever one you get you’ll really enjoy. Happy New Year!!
Im riding trial,i ride on fields where i need speed and more torque, and i think 450 would be perfect, but im little bit scared of power, bcs im 6'2 and weight only 120lbs😅 but i have ridden on my honda like 50 hours and i think its not stable in high speed and torque is weak..even it doesnt pop wheelies sorry for my bad english..Happy new year too!🎉
@@coltbs785 as long as the bike is set up correctly “balance” for you, the power is controllable and I think you’ll be fine 🤙.
Tysm for help! Im gonna buy 450 and hope it will be fun!@@MartinezHQ
@ Also the tuner app is awesome, you can mellow the engine way down or make it scream. The preloaded maps the app comes with offer a great range of power options.
Probably would have been better to build only two whoops. After you master that then add more. With only two you're probably less likely to crash if you get put of line.
@@kellyperry8755 great advice! I’m getting the hang of them now. But two - three to start with would’ve been a great idea, I agree with you 👍
You got this. 🏆 Subscribed ✅
@@Anthonyhancock71 thank you! 🙏
WHOOPS the scariest part of Moto/Supercross !!! I never got the hang of them and just went back to trail riding ...LOL To hell with the tracks !!! I quit riding at 31 yo , had one NEW bad ass 1991 KX 125 that had everything done but a port and polish , the thing was faster than I wanted to ride it !! I let the mechanic that did all the work for me race it many times and he just waxed people on it , has a kid that was sponsored by Honda and had several new pupmed up 125's and I let him ride it on the supercross track and he fell in love with it and said it had so much more power then his as the trippels were easy to jump on my bike! I sold it to some 16 year old kid that had never been on a dirt bike , his dad wanted it for him so i sold it to him!!!
@@darrell3118 that is awesome! I really hope you can get back on a bike soon and pick that trail riding back up. Dirtbikes are so much fun no matter what your are doing on them 💗. Thank you for watching the video! 🫡
great video, i look forward to the next one!
Can I come ride, I started a little bit over 2 years ago (Texas) 👍

@@MartinezHQ if I bought some land, how much does it cost to make a bare *minimum track? What machines are required... maybe a good topic for a video
I miss riding in New Mexico. I was born and raised in New Mexico and raced NMDRC in high school. Cool track!
@@CodyRaue that’s awesome! Some good ol days!! Thank you 👊
@MartinezHQ Im in AZ now not want to get back and do some of the race collective races. Looks like they do and of the older courses?
@@CodyRaue I’m not certain. I race motocross in Aztec. The people who took that over do a really great job with it.
Good job! Skimming really isn't that difficult. Dropping your front wheel the first time you miss the top of a whoop trying to find your limits on speed is hard.
so, your're actually doing very well. I'd like to see a third person side view of you to see where your elbows and hips are. but just make sure you are looking three whoops ahead, and are going through them in 3rd or fourth. You are already getting "on top of them" just come in a tick or two more hot and you'll float really well. I'd maybe go just a little more dead on your rear rebound since the set is short you shouldn't have to worry about the rear packing. Nothing signficant just something to drive you alittle more. But this is about as fast as any B arenacross guy is getting through them most places.
@@ClarkStar866 Thank you Clark! I appreciate the tips. I’m excited to get comfortable and add some more whoops. When I do another whoop video in the future I’ll add a side view, I’m curious myself 👍
Great job man.
Super duper cross 👊😎
this is awesome keep it up dude
@@helifire7028 thank you!!
I've been riding for 40 years, mainly desert racing. About 5 years ago I transitioned to riding motocross. I have to say that whoops are extremely technical and difficult. When I go to Colorado a few times each year I hire a riding coach to critique my riding. All of this takes time. Keep up the good work and oner day you'll be a whoop expert. BTW: is this your own private track?
@@rodger2499 Thank you Rodger! Yes sir, the track I built in the backyard. The wife and I live in the same shop as our construction company. Build more whoops!! Come in hot, case your front end and hold the throttle..or more throttle through them
@@travisolsen3943 that’s the plan Trav! I’m just scared right now lol… But we’ll get there 💪. I appreciate you watching the video 🤝🫡.
@MartinezHQ braaaappppp buddy!!!
@MartinezHQ I always liked triple in and case the top of that and hold the gas hard! Don't ever lay off the gas when blitzing!!
the black plastics look NICE! With the bar mounts, many people will tighten the top all the way down, then the bottom bolt down to torque. Just a different method, it ensures uniformity
Sweet! I should be getting one friday if they still have it by then. If not ill get the YZ250 2 stroke. I dont like to wait lol
that's a gigantic change, lol
Always gotta check new bikes from dealer! They’ll hire anyone to build those things.
I know that's right
It's like you're comparing a half ton to a 1 ton hd truck. Both will get you there, one just does it a lot easier. I'm waiting on the 97-3 to start hitting dealers next year.
03299 O'Connell Track
Any issues in the year you have had thiz machine?
@@mikeadams2339 not a single one. And we run it a lot. At least 1 jobs per week. Sometime several jobs a week.
Im considered a 97, just demoed a cat 265 yesterday, very impressed but price is much better on kubota
Great video! Thanks for sharing. The 97 is the BEST for me, love the extra size and reach. 75 is more 'tippy' when the bucket is high.
Is there a noticeable difference in cab space for tall folks?
You should’t have a problem in either one, both seem to have plenty of room. 👍
95 runs on 1/3 of revs rhan 75. 95 cheaper on fuel as lot less revs. Turning circle is horrible. 75/2 off it head with noise. 95 noise is much lower.
I’ve got both, I want to say the 97 is my favorite, I really love it, but have to admit that most of the time o just grab the 75-2. Aroubd my property it. Feels more nimble, and doesn’t tear up the ground or gravel half as much as the 97 does. However I absolutely love the power of the 97, and will never sell it. Reality says all I need is the 75, however if I had to sell one, I’m keeping the 97 and selling the 75. Next up, a complete delete package for the 97
We are getting a 65 test drove it very smooth compared to are bobcat
You have to use foot throttle for regular jobs Hand throttle only for attachments If you dont work it like this you gonna damage the engine and hydaulic pump and drives. If you work it this way, as the time goes you gonna start to understand the machine better.
I have to disagree. Full Throttle to prevent clogging the exhuast filters and foot pedal only for attachments.
The machine also operates a lot smoother on full throttle.
Sorry that is just not true. These machines are made to run full throttle. The foot pedal is great for fuel saving and only needing the speed and power when bucket functions/heavy loads are needed
I started at 35 as well. Still have that passion at 53. Keep up the track builds. Long drawn out landings are key for longevity
Looks awesome man!! Looks intimidating for my skill level. I'll stick to Aztec Motocross for now lol
I think I’ll mellow it later on so more people can enjoy it. Maybe leave one or two bigger jumps that a person can either triple or double. 👍. I’ll let you all know, would love to have you guys out 🤙.
Awesome man. We'd love to come out and check it out!!
Im in a similar situation as anthony. Man that track looks rad, looking forward to more videos! Keep rippin it out there!
Thank you!! 🙏
Used to race moto as a kid. Im now thirty, havent rode in years. I miss it so much
Would love to see you get back out there. I’m in a similar situation, rode about ten years ago. Not that my kiddos are getting out of diapers I’m able to get back on the bike a little.
Get a bike and ride , I'm in my 60s still race best exercise keeps you young and fit
Let me know if there are any videos you all would like me to make. Thanks for watching!!
Pro tip, get your equipment deleted by TM AG Tuning as soon as you have emissions issues
true, but my local Kubota dealer will not touch a deleted machine if repairs are needed
@@bossturbo not sure how they would even know, if you just gutted the stock DPF. Only thing else that is done is the DEF pump gets unplugged. Diagnostic wise you cant tell
I guess one should leave the def fill cap then. I've seen those removed and plated.
We dont remove anything, we just unplug the pump and drain the tank
Pro tip- I have operated both and concur with you assessments. Turn the throttle down to 75% or so on the 97 until you get a good feel for it. This will take some of the jerkyness out and give you better control. It's better to go slow and smooth than fast and reckless. Good job!
Good video commenting for your algorithm.
Thank you 🙏
@@MartinezHQLove your videos. So I’m in the mist of buying a skid dealership want 83k for 75-3 but they have the 97-2 for only 92k what do you think. I mainly want it for junk removal, rent it out , pond fill , bruh hog , spread dirt . Will I be fine with the 75-3 ??
@@alphadetailingjay2050 I would stay with the 75 👍
Ur right. We have a 75 and a 95. The 75 is so smooth. Best loader I’ve ever operated. And the 95 is a pure workhorse. Great at digging and moving material
Should I buy Takeuchi TL8R2 or Kubota SVL75-3 Any advice?
That’s a tough one. I would try really hard to rent one or see if rental company will let you try each around in their yard a bit. Just to get a general feel. Personally I would lean a little more towards the TL8.
Great review. Question. Are you still happy with your choice? I have an 75-2 and am considering upgrading to the larger machine.
Thanks for watching. Yes, happier everyday. Now that I can operate it smoother and quicker it’s a joy getting bigger jobs done in a timely manner. It’s really clear now that the 75 would’ve been a bad choice for me.
Awesome! Great review BTW.
Helpful review. I am impressed with the 75-3 redesign and i hear it is coming in 24 for 97. Being my first machine after bring away from flatwork and pool construction for years, i plan to start with 75-3, get a year or two under the belt and consider trading up if what I am pursuing requires more horsepower and bucket capacity. By then the 97 will have improvements and a big brother.
97 has only been around for 2 years , you will see wheeled machines in -3 series first . Be a while on the 97. Also in development is a smaller track loader, like size of bobcat t140. Also has suspension undercarriage
Nice
Have you tried the Tl8? I want to see how it all compares
I rented a TL10 before I purchased my machine. I really wanted to go with the Takeuchi but the electric over hydro controls did not feel natural and I really did not like the seating/hand position of the controls. Those are my minor complaints. But real talk, the Takeuchi may be a better machine from all the research I’ve done.
@@MartinezHQ thanks fir the reply!
I'm in the market.... glad I ran across your video. Considering the 95 as well , since power is there and the improvements to the 97 over the 95 are evolutionary and NOT revolutionary based on what I've seen.
The 75-3 relocated the fuel tank for ballast so it can handle a little heavier load. Hard to find right now. Check one of those out when they become more available.
And has added counter weights. Add on of coarse
You looked good out there! Not bad for an old man. Anything over 30 is considered old in motocross years. Lol Crazy
