I had to pickup a stranded vehicle on my hood it ended up pretty close to hood river going on to warm springs ,so picked up a old rusty kinda milk truck/ /panel and the owner loaded every thing and headed south east so he is a pretty old warm springs native and starts a story about a broken down vehicle and the driver was a man with cloven feet who was being stalked by some animal.as he went to find help ,the native tells me that the other animals were tuned into this happening and they were alerting the old guy and running interference swooping out of trees and running by in direction of stalker and im starting to notice critters out at 4:00 am that should not be yet and its starting

The long adds on this channel are very annoying.

used to live in Peru, 15 minutes out from starved rock, i love the town, i love the park. Respect your surroundings, you are not alone, the native spirits guard the illinois peoples home and the tribes that lived in the area, Illinois, Kaskaskia, Potawatomi, Ottawa, and Shawnee tribes all lived around the Starved rock area, even MY hometown, a lot closer to chicago but is actually one of the towns that is the farthest west in the "chicagoland surrounding area" is also home to many native tribes and our towns arent haunted, our forests arent haunted, unlike the stories of the skinwalkers, wendigos, etc etc, Illinois Tribes that still protect their lands either as spirits, entities, or ghosts, protect the land as respect those who came after them, they respect those who love thy land that our ancestors took away from them, those who do not respect nature are the ones who will be met by terrible fates or stories. at least in illinois.

I used to live in a canopy on the back of my pickup and used to go to Tillamook State forest all the time. I once heard footsteps circle my truck in the early hours of the morning just before sunrise.... slow menacing footsteps. I didn't hear or see a car stop or start before or after the footsteps, and the closest thing to locking the canopy from the inside was to wrap a bungee chord around the door handle and hook it to a clamp. Probably the most terrifying experience of my life
