Untuk Perempuan Yang Sedang Di Pelukan | Malay College Wind Orchestra (MCWO) | Royal Command Performance (RCP) | Rehearsal
On the 10th of August 2024, the Malay College Wind Orchestra has held the 6th Royal Command Performance concert after 4 long years of being devastated by the Covid-19 pandemic that hit the world.
Untuk Perempuan Yang Sedang Di Pelukan, the original work of Payung Teduh, is a song that was rearranged by a former MCWO player himself, namely Meor Danish, C17. The sophisticated sound and rhythm of the song has definitely captured the attention of the audiences present during the night.
Royal Command Performance was also the last event for the Form 5s who will be retiring from playing to focus on their upcoming SBP Trials and Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia of 2024. We wish them all the best for the future and a great success ahead! Let’s all keep our eyes on MCWO as the next generation takes on the leading role and support them in their future endeavours!

Hectic performance before 20/21 season ended, good job guys!
Another milestone carved. Maju terus mara!
I was there during this performance!!! They played really well. I love all interpretations. I love the sax solo and the conductor conduct the band really good. I believe they will become better in future. Improve on intonation and clarity of note. I love the balancing of this band and some retardando part. Very well established and strong!!! Don’t give up and play with passion!
