I Moved the Battery in My 86. It Turned Out 🔥
ayoooooo, the 86 gets it's battery changed from an open trunk configuration to an enclosed box behind the passenger seat 🤌 My friend Matt came through to help me with this one! With the prior battery setup I couldnt really put anything in the trunk with peace of mind so super pleased with how this turned out. Come say whatsup in comments and hope you enjoy! :D

ayoooooo, the 86 is finally going to a shop to get a custom exhaust 😜 Thought it would be fun to do a little POV driving so I can showcase a before and after! I also change the oil in my 2014 Mustang GT and give an update on future mods for the 86. Come say whatsup in comments and hope you enjoy! :D

Today, the 86 gets a new MOMO Steering Wheel and guess what it's Initial D themed 😱. It turned out so great, I think the yellow will fit the blue and black theme of my car much better than red. Actually THE best car Honda ever made. RWD and v6 vtech. The car is still overshadowed by fwd rolling caskets .

Nah it was because Japan had the "Gentleman's Agreement" of a 280 hp limit, which was plenty enough for most people by lowering the weight but the people at the time would rather have more hp for the money, even though it meant extra weight etc etc making it fast in a straight line, but handled like sh*t

The original NSX was an awesome car but buyers gravitated to Porsches, etc because they wanted to show off their status. Same reason why the current NSX doesn’t sell well, but it will probably be sought out after too one day.
Corvette ZR1 was quicker, faster, and capable of generating higher lateral Gs
And unlike the Ferraris the Honda still works
Had a friend that owned one,. What a blast to drive, handled like it was on rails, and when the VTEC kicked in, that was a kick in the pants..

The problem was it’s an Acura. The NSX was released just 4 years after Acura became Honda’s luxury division. So back then Acura was still very much identified as just being a slightly fancy Honda. There wasn’t enough prestige in owning an Acura/Honda, especially compared to European exotics.
