You know that it's a railroad small enough to care about having some charm by how well they sound like they take care of their M5 horns. I tell you, I don't even know how people manage to railfan at all these days, where anyone who looks even a little suspicious or out of place gets harassed. 👮‍♂👮‍♂🚔

I love the old center cabs. If you're in Utah, Patriot Rail has one in Salt Lake City. They use it in the tanker yard between 5600 w. and 7200 w. on the south side of I 80. I enjoyed the video. It more fun to see them in action someplace other than just in the yard.

Excellent catch as always! Quick question - how does the A&A heat the passenger cars in the winter? Is it just warm enough from body heat, or is there some sort of baseboard heating courtesy of the generator? Inquiring minds wish to know!

I seem to remember that in that 1970 period, they had a stream engine, a Baldwin I think. I know the village historian may have a record. I am pretty sure that Harry Douglass probably did.

In about 1960 or so my grandfather Frank C Wilson help get this line running with tourist service. Glad to see after all these years it is still in use. David H Wilson
