The composition TERMINUS was written for my band students, with the purpose of providing them with song to perform at concerts, and various programs. One of the meanings of the Latin word Terminus is: “a final goal.”
It is my hope that TERMINUS will provide students with a song that they will enjoy learning to play, and provide other music educators with a teaching tool that can be used to motivate and encourage their students.
TERMINUS is dedicated to my family, friends, teachers, and the thousands of students who have influenced, inspired, and enriched my life.
