That turned out great. How do you like the steam cleaner? Do you think they are worth getting? I used one when they were fairly new in detailing, but I don't think the one we tried back then was very good. I bet they are much better now.
Yeah I love the steamer
Can you tell me the store or the link where you bought the bull bar?
It was custom made
what engine did you use,.. is it a TSX Accord,. or an element/crv ??
Just a rebuilt element engine
Stop worrying about the time...this isnt a race
No one can learn how to do it their selfs the way you are doing it...unless maybe thats why you are doing it in fast motion ? I suppose you probably do wnat to show other element owners how to remove & replace their own engines ...very sad...
You need to watch Eric the car guy working on elements & notice how he explains everything he does in detail..then people would get a lot more out of your video...
Why not do this in normal speed so we can see what exactly you are doing ? The way you are showing it being do in fast motion is B S...
That would have been a 8hr video
Great Video! Very helpful. One question/ comment is that I believe from the manual and looking at ordering the parts online that the 2nd "bushing/ rubber disc" goes on top of the mount, not under the bushing. I could definitely be wrong, but thats what it looks like to me.
Right it's a dis at the top and bottom but my bushings was gone lol some things missed on the video
What kind of mufflers did you use for this car? Flowmaster?
Anybody got the part number for that harness
😂 the commentary is great
Thank you for the video.... its very helpful from NC
You are most welcome
Dude, you need to take off the spring compressor tools first. Lol. I replaced spring coils and wasn't that hard. You're gonna get somebody hurt themselves.
Bumper cover for a wagon ain't it? Can tell by length of the chrome insert
What made you choose co-axial speakers for the front instead of components
Being cheap..lol it was a bad decision
Thank you.
If I was still living in Texas (DFW) I would love to collaborate with you. I own a Honda Element and a couple of old motorcycles. Love your Vids to see what projects you're into....
Great video
Where did you get the bull bar?
Very Nice
Ford f-150…..the best looking and easier. You still retain the woofer
Yes still have the sub woofer but I did us3d the honda element SC console
On the spindle on bottom which bushing or part number goes
Where did you buy your brake lines from?
This was a very helpful video.
If you did a k24a8 bottom and k20 head could I use the same crank or no ?
Yes I believe so
@@ByrdsRebuilds okay ima try it out I was thinking of running 11:1 compression on my pistons and hoping to use the 50vtc. I’m curious to know if the pistons make contact
What are “stocks”?
Thanks @ByrdRebuilds for recording this. I just fixed my ignition (05 element) and wanted to share pointers. Be prepared to pull two roll pins. There's one holding the lock housing in and another holding the lock cylinder in place (the one you see drilled/pushed in this video). One thing you don't see in this video is that if the key is in the cylinder, and key can be rotated, the roll pin at the end of the lock cylinder will rotate and expose itself (no drilling required). I used a very small drill bit to extract both pins. Using you fingers only (no drill), feed the bit through the roll pin. Gently spin it until it "grabs". Once it grabs, firmly apply pressure and slowly wiggle and pull the pin out. Take your time here to avoid breaking the bit. Once you get the lock cylinder out, identify which pins are sticking out (protruding) like in the video. Using a Dremel and a grinding bit (I used aluminum Oxide), gently grind off the portion of each pin that protrudes beyond the surface of the cylinder. Try not to grind the actual cylinder face. Go slow. The pins are spring loaded so you cant bear down on the surface while grinding as the springs will allow the pin to push back into the cylinder. Try to keep you grind profile similar to the original shape of the pin. This isn't difficult, just take your time and be patient. Once I ground down all the pins my original keys work like a charm! Gool luck!
❤
Thanks, I’ve always wanted to see what was under that flooring.
Looks like you're ready to go...have some fun..how much time to set up?
About 30min because I have no idea how to set it up
nice I need to get one for my Element once I get evicted😅
That’s nice and big
PZX-995
With the variety of accessories you have added to your E...how much has it affected the MPG?
What did you spray the bumper with?
Rhinoliner
Thank you for the info you’re doing a great job 👍🏾
Oh noooo
Hey next time you might want to Rhino line that bar like you did the E cause I can see rocks hitting that and chipping all that fresh clearcoat off just a thought and cool video
Yeah you right about that
Good morning. Have you given any thought of painting the skid plate the same color as the bull bar or gray like the bumper? Imo it would look 👀 nicer. Have a great day from NYC
Yes i did, thinking about getting powder coat the same color of the car or black
Love the look of it.. gives your E a more robust look and stance
Hang in there brother. Hopefully more subscribers will come your way
Slick Rick
I really enjoy your videos but mate...the heartbeat soundtrack throughout drives me bonkers and doesn't add to your excellent production. Just some constructive criticism I hope you don't mind. I have a Smart 451 14 years old and in pristine condition (must have been garaged its whole life) so I don't need to do anywhere near as much restoration but I plan on getting a basket case Brabus 451 at some point in the future to restore and I'm certain your videos will prove invaluable Keep them coming friend 😎
Is it necessary to remove the subframe if you need to remove the transmission?
Yes, on most front wheel drive cars, you have to remove the sub frame
Do you know the size of the carrier bolts that go in the front carrier subframe? I’m missing the front two and my radiator dropped lol
Dang no I don't know the size sorry abut that
How long do you need to soak the purple stuff ?
Let it soak for a minute or two, but spray the heavy spots first so it can soak in a little longer
Hiw does it ride on freeway
How's the torque on the spacers holding up? Any loosening?
I haven't had any problems at all and my wheels been on and off alot
Are these genuine Honda bushings? Or aftermarket? Haven’t been able to find aftermarket ones for it, and the crv ones seem to be different
Aftermarket the link is in the description
The new belt edge will be polished a lso within 100 miles
Your videos are perfect in length…and content
Thank you
Where to buy the rear axle boot rebuild kit? Is both inner and outer boot same?
I purchased them on Amazon
Props for doing this solo…with minimal tools
