I definitely experience S.A.D. What typically helps me is taking pain medication when I need it, being intentional (behavioral activation) about engaging in yoga poses for flexibility & low intensity workouts to maintain my weight since I’m not going out much, listening to soothing music, replacing at least two showers per week with a soaking aromatherapy bath, writing in my journal & diverting my focus to God’s promises.

No. It's not something that can be seen in a scan. It can be seen in behavior.
Great subject: Guilt seems to be attached to my procrastination, I know I need to get something done, but at the end of my day Guilt looms large in my mind after not doing what I need to do. Like being in a box with no opening to find a way out. You have offered some great avenues to build on, yes journaling would be a great way to put my thoughts in some order, and maybe what I can do to focus on working on this goal.
