I just recently discovered the art of Anna Miarczyńska and decided to get a couple of her colouring books, this one call my attention because the art looked so cute and beautiful and because it isn't a massive book ( I have those as well but I like to have as well something smaller that doesn't seem that will take ages to finish, I think all of us, sometimes, likes the quick feeling of accomplishment). For my surprise when I got the book there was a leaflet inside that warmed my heart (I made sure to include it in the video, so if you can please pause the video/take a screenshot and read it), I got to know what is called a special place - the state Children's Home No.16 in Warsaw - and this project called "The Sunny Land". I never knew when I started colouring that I would get to know this beautiful projects, that this community was so kind and giving, from the colourists to the artist. It's so heart warming to be a small part of it. With all of that being said if you want to know a bit more about the book, the art is lovely as you can see in the video and the paper is good quality, th first illustrations are on 160gsm white paper and the repeat illustrations are on 150gsm ecru paper.
