Thank you! 47680 is not really the best of the Streetlites in Ipswich, it's in bad condition and rattles almost as bad as 47682. I'm considered lucky I get this one the least out of all the other ones. The same can be said with 47679.

@IpswichBusTravelsAndMore Well at least their all currently working mechanically (just about) except 47677 which hadn't been on the road since 1st October. That's almost 3 months of it being broken. This one they really should just scrap it's a disgrace. 47678 hasn't been on the road since 17th of December , I wonder if that too is having problems or is just sitting in the yard and hasn't really been used.

Thank you! Turns out 44518 was actually in for an inspection when I visited the Ipswich Reds depot last month. At the time I couldn't really tell, but at least it didn't end up like what had happened to 47677. It is a shame that this one and 44519 are soon getting replaced, these are the only two Enviro 200s with good interiors.

Thank you! I actually didn't film as many buses as I was hoping to, because I had barely enough time that day. The next bus spotting video should hopefully be a bit longer, but unfortunately I'm not able to go bus spotting until January 14th due to how restricted my current time schedule is. About that ex-Norwich Streetlite, it's definitely working the best out of all the other ones. That bus however sounded very loud at the back when I recorded this on the same day.

@IpswichBusTravelsAndMore Ah ok, yeah my schedule is always busy that's why I never get round to bus spotting. I will and am going to do it again some stage, wish it would warm up a little though. Yes the ex Norwich streetlite does seem to be the most behaving one so far. Oh interesting I haven't actually travelled on it yet so wouldn't really know. Still surprised they haven't actually removed the Norwich vinyl logo yet. 👍

Apparently the Ipswich Reds bus drivers hate the Streetlites, these buses came in late last year. 47682 was the first ex-Wales Streetlite to be transferred here, with 47677 arriving shortly after. Streetlites 47678-80 and 63327 were later arrivals. These buses also have the typical Streetlite interior, but 63327 is the only one that has different seats. Definitely not my favourite type of bus to ride on with the conditions they are in.

Thank you! This one was seen operating my local route for all of the afternoon. I would've otherwise had Streetlite 47678 that day, but it was seen overheating at the bus station and was taken out of service.

@IpswichBusTravelsAndMore Ah well you got lucky then. I know I'd much prefer a streetdeck over those bits of rubbish.

Thank you! Those Citaros are nice to see, but it is a shame these are going soon. The Wright Eclipse Urbans are one of my favorite buses to look at; the same can be said with 161. It's such a shame that bus is withdrawn now. I already miss hearing the lovely Voith it had. Oh, that's alright. I've been busy over here too considering it's almost Christmas.

@IpswichBusTravelsAndMore I also love the Wright eclipse urbans. They really are great buses. Yeah it's a shame about 161 , it's now with it's sister ex ipswch buses 160. The Ipswch buses fleet is starting to lose variety which is sad really. I know they want some more modern buses but those citaros still looked quite modern and weren't that old really. Now it's Christmas I'm gonna get busier these next couple days. Then have a few days of rest which will be nice 👍👍

Thanks! Yes, these buses are very rare on my route. I normally get the Enviro 200s and the Streetlites. I rode 35923 around two months ago, and the bell went twice. That's something different compared to the rest of Ipswich's fleet.

​@@IpswichBusTravelsAndMoreI think it's only a problem on some of the Streetdecks though. The next stop voice announcements on these street decks are quite annoying, drivers keep turning them off I heard. Last time I went to Ipswich the Announcements were playing was really annoying

Thank you! I didn't expect 44519 to be operating the 77 that day either. Those buses are normally allocated for routes 14, 59, 70, 73 or 116.

I was just looking on bus Times tracker and saw the bus on a route , then when checked it's operator it apparently belongs to Simmonds. Was quite surprised Saw some photos of it on Flickr and looks like the destination display has been stuck since it's time in Dublin

Thank you! 69548 is still the only one. My guess if there wouls be another bus in the corporate livery, it could end up either being 47678 or 63327. I also saw another Wright Eclipse 2 transferred from Norwich on Monday, still in ex-Wessex livery like 69548 was. I saw 153 in service yesterday, with 154 and 155 sitting in the depot. I also saw 161 parked up behind one of the Citaros. I'm also surprised the Lowlanders are still there, I saw 3 of them last week. I also have no idea what company that ALX400 Trident belongs to. I consider myself lucky I caught that bus in the end, as they are rare to find nowadays. Even though it was hoovering, I still like these buses no matter what.

​​@@IpswichBusTravelsAndMore Interesting According to Bus Times All 3 Wright Eclipse 2 in ex Wessex livery are still in Norwich. Did you catch it's number plate ? I know we had 69519 on loan from Essex the other day and that was green. Yeah it's sad about 161 that was definitely the best bus on the Ipswch buses fleet. Ah ok

@@BusSpottingSuffolk That bus was BF12 KWR - Fleet number 69555. So far I've only seen it once while it was parked in the depot.

@@IpswichBusTravelsAndMore Interesting, according to Bus times it's currently tracking as on route 13 in Norwich. On Friday 22nd it was on the O1 though so maybe you saw it when it was on loan to Ipswich. I'm not too sure though, bus times could be wrong will just have to wait and see

Thank you! I also miss the ALX400s, with 32479 being one of my favorites to look at, the same with 32651. It's a shame the last 3 were replaced in March/April. Yeah, those Streetdecks were new to Ipswich 2 years ago, with 17 of them at the time. The five ex-York Streetdecks aren't too bad either. According to what I saw on some other Streetlite videos, these buses had 2 different engines to pick from. These ones have the Daimler variant.

@@IpswichBusTravelsAndMore 32479 Big Red was everyones favourite. That was an amazing bus, sounded amazing as well really was a beast. When travelling back from Ipswich I was quite lucky to have 32479 dedicated to my 75 service. And as I knew it was being withdrawn soon I took some photos of it , hence the profile picture. About a month later it was withdrawn, I now really regret not filming on it and catching the Thrash. At least the memory of her still lives on. Ah ok interesting, don't know alot about streetlites as not interested in learning about them too behonest as obviously not a fan of them

Thank you! The rattling was actually coming from the window next to where I sat. That turbo like you said makes quite a noise, it never used to do that. Also, this one and 45119 are the only 2 Enviro 200s in Ipswich that are the shorter variant. We also had 44928 a few years ago but has since been withdrawn. Ipswich Buses also had a few of these variants too, but have now been replaced with more modern Enviro 200s.

@IpswichBusTravelsAndMore ah ok, yep Ipswich seems to be replacing most of their fleet recently with longer and newer Envrio 200 / 200 MMC. Next to leave the fleet will be 161 and the 3 mercedes buses as well 153, 154, 155. Probably be replaced with more Envrio 200s or 200 MMCs

Thank you! I keep seeing that Optare Solo every time I'm at the bus station. That is the most common out of the Mulleys buses I've seen; another was MX08 DFY. That Beestons Wright Eclipse 2 I've also spotted for a while. About the perspective, I was carrying a bag with me that day. This meant I had to hold the camera with one hand for the video. I could've put the bag down so I would film properly, but I didn't think of that. I also have a tripod but I used my phone to record instead. My 4K camcorder hasn't been used since May because of the bad sound quality, but I have another camera lying around. I might use that sometime before the end of the month.

@@IpswichBusTravelsAndMore Ah Ok fair enough, you can also get a attachment for tripods to attach phones as well. But enjoyed the video overall 👍

Thank you, yeah these buses are only 9 years old and they are absolute heaps. 47677 was the second ex-Cymru Streetlite to be transferred, shortly after 47682 had been given to us. 47677 hadn't even lasted a year in Ipswich and is already done for. That is the same with 47680, which is thankfully no longer in Ipswich as of Monday.

Most likely, since I saw the one from Norwich being transferred to us last month. It was on the same day I saw 47680 out of service that I noticed 63327 had replaced that dead Streetlite. Definitely the worst buses to be made by Wright. Unreliable, cheap and slow being there is no kickdown on them either.

@@IpswichBusTravelsAndMore Yep and they're meant to replace the rest of our reliable single deckers, is Definitely a mistake.

Thank you, yeah these seats are a lot more comfortable than in the other four. Those Urban90 seats are literal bucket seats compared to these ones. I could've also imagined both ex-Lowestoft buses 44512 and 44513 would get an interior refurb when they were transferred to Ipswich 4 years ago.

Thanks, yeah it's a shame these buses are getting withdrawn. Three YX09-plate Enviro 200s have gone out of service in the past 5 months. (44516, 44517 and 44518) I saw 44518 decommissioned in the depot yesterday, which now rests with two dead Streetlites 47677 and 47680. So sad to see these Enviro 200s get replaced with such garbage.

Update: Ipswich has now received another streetlite this time from Colchester it is also an ex Wales one, still in ex cymru red. With Feet number 47679 and registration SL15 RVW. First Ipswich now has a grand total of 6 Streetlites 👍

@@BusSpottingSuffolk Already aware of that, I saw 47679 in the depot at the same time I was seeing 44518 get decommissioned. I bet that Streetlite will be just as bad as the other ones, and also it won't be long until the other ex-Wales Streetlite shows up. (47681 - SL15 RVY) I'll have to find out once I catch it on my local route soon.
