So I installed Pandora using MO2 and set up the files it creates to a mod I created called "Pandora Animations" folder. However, when I try to run Pandora it says that "the designated write target is not enabled". What do I need to do to enable it? I checked the box and created the folder and then tried to run Pandora using it as the target mod folder. What more do I need to do? Edit - Nevermind, got it to work. It turns out even you do a couple of steps out of sequence, like setting up the Pandora Output and checking it to be the output source before checking it on the left in MO2, it doesn't seem to work. Once I started back over, creating the folder, checking it, then setting it up as the output folder in editing the Pandora.exe it worked.

If I can make a shameless plug, Daggercross Alley fits right in with Southwoods District. I'm not the original author, but I ported and improved upon it.

This is an awesome showcase! These cities reminded me more of Witcher 3 in terms of liveliness and I think that’s just perfect.

Any mod list that adds such lore friendly expansion, bigger budgets to Skyrim’s females, and more racism in general is gonna help with that immersion we need. Glad I found this channel, subbed.

Capital Windhelm is awesome. In the evenings the narrow alleys of dark stone contrasted by all the snow, lit by the warm glows of fires through windows, just create this unmatched ambiance. Reminds me of Super Nintendo winter cities from like, Star Ocean, Tales of Phantasia, Trials of Mana, and I love it. Both Capital mods also have great quests. The one in Whiterun with the giant blew me away the first time. Also Maven's throwing some shade Destana's way lmao

Oh, I love this. But I love Capital Whiterun Expansion, too. Gonna have to see what I can mix and match...

fantasy city walls for windhelm is also a good mod to use, though i found some clipping issues with the actual vanilla cities when using it for riften and solitude

Holy smokes, that is an epic Whiterun transformation. Markarth has cool ideas but the game does very little with them. The fact that all the stairways look like deathtraps doesn't help. I wish I liked it better.

In my current run, I'm doing HS and Spaghetti overhauls. In the past I did JKs everything and the Capital mods you mentioned. I think I like the latter better for Windhelm. I love your Solitude.

Does this mod work with followers like serana or lydia? Is kinda buggy when I change character, I cannot attack or interact with the world and dragonborn stays super still.

I actually wish there was more platforming in vanilla, Wuld enables a lot more exploration than you might think. In my first playthrough of Skyrim I, for some reason, got it into my head that I was supposed to break into Riften because I didn't want to pay the guard at the front gate, and with a little bit of imaginative climbing and Shouting I found out that it's just a low res model of the town and you can't actually enter over the walls. Anyway, love the few dungeons with "inaccessible" spots where you get to use the shout. Good habit to look up every once in a while.

There's an extremely delicate balance in these types of games where you need to explore to advance the story, especially if they're mods or already buggy, because it very easily tilts into "oh this doesn't work so I'll just whatever my way past it". Same with difficulty, if there's supposed to be a curve. Metroidvanias and A Link to the Past...likes(?) tend to have it work by having new movement options which clearly communicate the "not yet", but the classic "you need the RED KEY for the RED DOOR" method is pretty obviously just padding. Also I like the mods that tune down the cloak spells visual effects, and the magelight being placed so it doesn't blind you in first person. Get very distracting in dark caves since I like using pitch black darkness mods.

My Whiterun Combo is - JK + DoS - JK Outskirts - Ryns Outskirts - Whiterun Has Walls 2 - (SREX) I would so much love if there was a patch to make Whiterun Metropolis compatible with those while running SREX. Maybe some day I'll make a patch.

I always have mixed feelings about building in video games, because I've had to do it myself and it's so simplified and I have this bitter resentment of "Why shouldn't they suffer as I have?? Everyone should know how much work building really is! They've never had to shovel for a week straight trying to make a good foundation! ALL MUST KNOW BLISTERED HANDS!" so I never really engaged with Hearthfire. Dang, does Mara have Ulfric's seed on speed dial? That was an easy paternity test. Destanaaaa! No! Don't go around blabbing about being a privateer! [/Walter White] The latter half of the vid seems a little contrived. Homing letters? Perfect for scroll assassinations. Besides, if she's captured by Redguards wouldn't they send the ransom letter? Have the tidbit about having information as a second letter, a kind of proof of life from them? And basically zero hesitation when the risks are so great and there's basically no gain. Why even trust a Thalmor in the first place? I assume the Redguards double-crossed Destana because you used a mass Calm spell to keep them in line for a moment, but the mod only really allows for massed battles? Anyway, there's loads of drama here but I'm kind of disassociating from it. It feels like she's accumulating a cult of personality where no one's sticking up to her and her flaws have no consequences. I guess you're tied to your existing canon, but I'm a big fan of "What is the worst thing that could happen to your character? Do that," for writing and it seems like getting a miscarriage for what would have been the High King's child would been a long-due reality check of sorts. Personal wound + fall from grace + widening rift between her and Nyrene especially when Nyrene apparently does have some vital information. Rife for potential. Did you write this with recurring viewers of "future" episodes in mind? The reveal of where Fenrir was born doesn't strike me as particularly meaningful, but will future episode put some new perspective on that? Hmm... Anyway Merry Christmas, time to log off.

The rain is really distracting. Looks really weird and should have extinguished the fires, but whatever. I wondered how you'd gotten the sailing section in the first episode of the playlist. The water looks a bit off since I think the ships are scaled down, and it's not quite AC4: Black Flag naval battles, but it looks pretty cool given how much more Skyrim's battles can have going on for it. Your light musings on banditry and then taking to privateering reminds me of some... wargaming? Alright I'll be honest, fanfiction outlines, I had for a Skyrim story. Basically the way I see it is that the Empire's conflict with Skyrim is pretty much a direct parallel to the fall of the Roman Empire and it trying to deal with the Germans. The economy is in shambles so they enforce a bunch of top-down edicts, forcing bakers and other vital professions to continue their work, even if it's economically impossible, debasing their currency, basically just driving people out of the cities and out into being outlaws or bandits. So my take would have been to recruit from the disenfranchised bandits, turn them into a faction of their own located in Blackreach and after the war they would have set their sights on the high elves as "unaffiliated" pirates. But since Summerset is supposed to have the best navy, the idea would have rather been to strike from the skies. Dwemer steam engines for lift and thrust combined with Feather enchantments should make airships more than viable, and with a post-Alduin Dovahkiin bossing dragons around, having airship fleets with dragon escorts would have been a real pain in the ass for the Thalmor. My playthroughs usually end with me adopting all the brats in Skyrim, too, but what the heck kind of appearance overhaul are you running? Very weird looking urchins. Though I sometimes leave Alesan. Something about him strikes me as benefiting from a rough beginning. Got that vibe where I think he'll claw his way into greatness. Also it annoys me how little you can donate in Skyrim. In Daggerfall I like to make 10-100k donations to whatever temple I'm part of, and while yeah mechanically that only buys me a few points of divine favor, I like to think it's put to charity as well.

I liked Asteria for her rendition of Eyldi the Bear. I'd often swing by just to listen. Also that one bandit/dwemer cave on the other side of Skyrim for having this one ghostly nord/witch who cursed him quest. Better parts of Interesting NPCs. Does the combat bard's combat lute make the THWONNGGG sound?

Faction warfare seems a little much. There's cool chaos and then there's "petty bandits interrupting a world crisis-level ritual" messy, where if they had sense they'd be hoofing it. Or... were they trying to stop Potema? Damn it Destana, quit killing heroes :S

Can someone mod the game to remove loading screens? If they ever bring out another elder scrolls they better have dump their engine and have zero loading screens or I am taking my ball home and never playing it. I am also hoping they have not actually started on it yet, so hopefully it will not be a DEI Woke nightmare.
