Justin, I have been trying to use DAZ figures, but wanting to apply permanent creases to the faces (NOT as part of an expression), but I keep getting stymied by the need to only use DAZ's "Base Resolution". Does CC allow for working in Blender at a higher subdivision level? I saw in your video that you can't *_change_* the SubD Levels, but are the levels higher (than DAZ) to begin with? Thank You for tackling this difficult subject! EDIT: I think it uses the normal map to include the additional HD info.

I always make sure I subscribe to you and watch your tutorials because you understand how to explain things in a practical way. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for being that the Reallusion Tutorials simply show you what you can do but don't explain how to do it! I think they are more apt to call that a Tease in the Advertising World and not a Tutorial!

I want to have a go at making my first animated cartoon,. im reasonable at sketchup, and want to use sketchup level realism, but can I transfer a sketchup model into another program and then animate it? or start altogether in another program?

For future iClone tutorials: I'd love to know the fastest/simplest way that you animate a characters movements manually (using available premade movements). Mapping out their path, etc. and then also having them interact accurately with the environment (walking up/down inclines and stairs, picking up objects, etc.) Motion Director is cool, but sometimes I just need to jump in quickly and create a specific animation in limited time, for things like simple previs etc.

Any idea why in CC4 the character gets exported only and T-pose. So I make accessories in blender and send them into CC4 , but for some reason every time I put the character in T-pose so the accessories like bracelets sit exactly on the wrists, the minute I click the bracelets the character jumps back into A-pose!? This doesn't let me attach them to the hands.

Do you have any idea about the tongue? Not many people are talking about it. My characters tongues don’t move at all. I’m starting with a CC3 character. I open it in CC4, I convert it from Standard to Extended from there I can see the sliders for the tongue, throat swallow and a few more details with nose tip and chin, but they aren’t active. In other words, I can see the tongue controls but they are greyed out. I have around 60 CC3 characters. How can I fix this? I don’t want to have to start over just to use CC4. I did create a test CC4 character today, then I exported it to iClone8. When I record using motion LIVE the tongue doesn’t move. Does this mean I have to rely on the sound to drive the tongue via Viseme in the timeline? There is barely any talk about this, and so much personality is in the tongue. I wrote to Reallusion, the forum, anyone I’ve found using these programs, and have been researching and no luck with this. Is there anyone who can share this? Should I drop trying to use these motion live and use live face? I would greatly appreciate the help. ⭐️

I very much enjoy your tutorials. I watched dozens of other videos but you take your time and explain every mouse/click movement and it makes them very easy to understand.

Turning out to be a great channel this. Hope u can do a iclone to blender workflow. I use characters from sketchfab, i wanna tweek mesh, remove objects, tweak topology, bake textures to import back to iclone. Be great to see this work flow ;)

Can the Unreal Take Recorder also capture Motion Director actions? I've seen videos from iClone where the animation weren't iMD files from iClone but never one were they explicity show those animations being recorded via LiveLink into Unreal.

How to realtime simulate hair and cloth

Fixed my problem below by Installing Nvidia Broadcast use that as the option in choosing source in Accuface. My Elgato Pro doesnt work with it , the light comes on then off right away Accuface says failed to find usable camera. It works fine with the Elgato hub. Will have to make do with video mode.
