The Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand - a learning immersion
Awesome video brother! Thank you for your service and I really appreciate your content and your service and dedication as a teacher as well. I hope you have a great day and keep up the great work! I can tell you’re and awesome teacher I love your passion!🇺🇸⭐️
Obama has such a deep and profound understanding of Lincoln. It’s really cool that one of our best modern day presidents has such a reverence for our greatest president.
used this to study for upcoming leq for AP euro, will post results.
And now we have ‘they are eating the pets’ what a wonderful country of ignorant infants we’ve become
Too bad that the Phonograph was only invented 11 years later. Having recordings of those historic speeches would've been really cool.

Вы делаете большое дело ❤

It’s an abomination to have Obama’s commentary is a part of is presentation of one of the greatest American speeches ever given.
as one of the only 46 men to ever be President of the United States, Obama has more in common with Lincoln than someone like you will ever have. also, as one of the even fewer men to give a second inaugural address, Obama is uniquely qualified to offer his opinions on the event, its meaning, and importance. the abomination is that people like you still existing in this nation and doing all you can to keep it from living up to its creeds and purpose. the abomination is that 159 years after the end of the Civil War we still have to deal with inequality, bigotry, prejudice, and the fallacy of white supremacy. Obama represents the ideals Lincoln fought for and for which his life was sadly taken.
"the official government story" look into what documents were conveniently destroyed. you probably believe the official 911 story too.
My father Benjamin Allen said he served with Rex. He said he was a great SSG and an even better person. Seeing this video makes me so happy knowing that Rex is honored.
Barack is wrong. Lincoln only gave this speech because victory in the Civil War was in sight. Lincoln is already looking beyond victory to caring for he who has borne the battle, his widow and his orphan and a just and lasting peace among ourselves and all nations.
The only other actor I’ve seen do an accurate Lincoln voice was Daniel Day Lewis. I can’t decide which is better, but also, props to this guy for not just impersonating Daniel Day Lewis’s impersonation
We will never know who did the more accurate portrayal because none of us can know what Lincoln actually sounded like. But DDL is probably the greatest actor of his generation, and his portrayal of lincoln is a tour de force, so I'm inclined to give the title to him. But this actor here still did an excellent job and deserves all the credit for doing so.
Booth later wrote his vantage Point had given him an excellent opportunity to kill the president had he wished. History is such an interesting thing to study. I wonder what would have become of the nation had Lincoln lived.
I do not like these modern ass-holes trying to interpret Lincoln's speech. Let the man speak for himself.
Obama, shut the hell up terrorist
I am a Second Generation Airborne Paratrooper. Traced my family back to the Civil War Veterans. Veterans will Save America. We were willing to Die on Foreign Soil for America how do you think we will fight in our Backyard?

I was in the U.S. Army for 8 years. Fun time.
When I was a young school student in rural South Dakota the students would decide to have a special day. So during the lunch period someone would sneak bags of peanut into the class room and place them in the students desks. Then a some random time in the afternoon someone would drop a book on the floor. That was a sign for all the students to pull the bags out of their desks and start throwing them at the teacher. When all the peanuts had been thrown the students would scoop them up and the rest of the day would be devoted to eating peanuts and telling jokes. I don't know if what we called a 'peanut shower" was practiced elsewhere or if it was unique to my school.
if these traps did not kill you, infection would
I think he got the voice just right. It is said that he had a high pitched voice that carried well to the limits of a large crowd. Whether the accent is right, I do not know, The Gettesyburg speech was wonderful, This was more powerful,

Hey im the orange beanie guy Also do JFK when we get to that lesson
"sic semper tyrannis" dives out window
“Thus always to tyrants”, I know of one other place that line is used: the motto of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Definitely a theater kid 😂
This teacher is very creative, I love it 😂
You could say that it really opened my mind!
Cant wait for JFK
What a mind-blowing experience!
Such an open minded teacher indeed!
HAHA
What a great way to teach history. Kudos to Mr. Swanson.
Lincoln was a racist war criminal. Sic semper tyrannis!
This was a time NOT of one upmamship nor self righteous celebration. It was a time of serious concern about the country's future.
Was this really his voice..i was shocked with Patton's real voice too its so high pitched.
Above all else, Lincoln was a crafty manipulating politician with a gift for speech seductively. Very, very dangerous.
" Now that I've subverted the constitutional rights of the Southern states, I was to be friendly with them again, so we can keep overtaxing them for our own enrichment, and control all their harbors - since we have so few"- and Rob them of all of what little they have left since I burned, pillaged, looted, and raped across the entire region." There. I just put it in it's true meaning and most accurate terms. Abraham lincoln was an anti constitutional tyrant who destroyed our constitution just so he could be president. He was an ugly villain of a man. Evil to his core. But he wrote beautiful prose and made great speeches. Sound familiar?
Really, really... 2:23... you include clips of this man here... in a clip about the moral greatness of Lincoln... you ought to be ashamed... so easily duped by a smooth talking... dare I say: "communist" again beginning at 2:23...
President Lincoln lived a most difficult life, his brother in laws fought for the other side. History may have been different if he lived.
God used him for the whole world and America will forever remained God's nation. Any candidate who wish to rule this nation must also be firmed on the God's word, live by the word both in and out, and if he or she can't abide by the word of God, then the God of all nations will never allow him to breathe a peaceful air for the rest of their lives in Jesus's mighty name. Amen. God hates lawlessness. Their corruption is affecting children daily....turning them against their true bodily identity of God's creative arts. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. Matthew 24:12-30 KJV
Lincoln was a butcher who did not care about how many sons were killed in the war but he protected his own son.
Greatest speech ever given by a world leader in my humble opinion. It sounds like a perfect harmonizing of biblical themes with American themes and themes from the Bhagavad Gita. Not longer after this extraordinary speech he would have a dream in which he saw a coffin in the Whitehouse and saw people mourning over it. He asked "who has died?" and an officer said "The president has died by an assassins bullet". And then shortly after that dream he would be shot by an assassins bullet.... on Good Friday.
The best description we have of Lincoln's voice is that it was higher pitched, based on recollections of those who heard his speeches. Who knows? Without amplification, our voices tend to be higher when we have to shout. Of course, all that really matters is the power of Lincoln's words.
)))))) TIME HAS RUN OUT !! John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Don't ignore this message... REPENT NOW !! TRUST that God raised Him from the dead !! By FAITH accept JESUS's blood alone as payment for your sins unto Salvation, to escape what's about to happen !!
Lincoln was a RINO
booooo
From Lincoln to Biden....you've come a long way baby? 🥺 😳 😂😂😂 💩☻
Applause and all praises to Graham Sibley. Here he has presented the best Lincoln since Royal Dano.
I remember Royal Dano. A fine actor.
